Dei is a powerful social contagion
They arnt that good. Am I missing something ? Anderson is making it seem like the next Mona lisa. These literally are not news worthy.
I literally just watched this on tv 📺. This woman is very talented.
Cringe “art”
Our culture feels lost. This isn’t fine art — it’s imitation. The same goes for our music, our architecture, our taste. Everything’s sliding downhill, wrapped in a shiny label and called progress.
I like her work. The composition is good and her use of color is beautiful. This idea that only her paintings lose some of their quality on film is not unique to her art. All great paintings look better in person. When she talks about creating a legacy and historical document with her art, I can't help but notice she ignores the violence in the Black community, and also the degradation of Black women in popular culture that seems to be most prevalent in the music industry. So, her historical record is not complete. She's whitewashing her culture in just the same way that European-American Whites whitewash the historical record of their treatment of the American Indian and enslaved peoples.
Illustration art give me a break show real painting
I see gray people 😯
Her paintings are beautiful. Love the vibrant colors.❤
Yep, you have to see her work in person. I was so sad I would never afford her work. Ah love the American museum. We all deserve to see her work.

There is such a comforting softness to her work. Just amazing

Ecclesia: across the sky, elevated, are the sun, clouds and rainbow.
I have so many questions about the people and symbolism of this triptych. Guess a trip to Baltimore will help answer them!
Love to see Amy’s work in the spotlight (or Baby Sunlight? Knowing Amy finds escape and inspiration with TT brings me joy and permission to open my eyes to unconventional inspiration).
Living Legend!
Beautiful. Yes you want to have a dialogue with the people in the paintings! You make up the scenarios in your head about where they are and what they are thinking. No shade I love Teletubbies too(57)! Dipsy is my favorite! 😊
Her work is absolutely exquisite. A God given gift. 🤍🙏🏽
Brilliantly executed and heavenly inspired.
I wish I could see them in person, they already look amazing! I can’t imagine how vivacious they would look in person
