Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s daughter, Shiloh, has made a bold move by taking out a newspaper ad to announce her intentions of legally changing her name and dropping her dad’s surname. The 18-year-old had previously submitted paperwork to remove the “Pitt” from her hyphenated surname and now she has made her decision public by placing an ad in the Los Angeles Times.
This announcement comes more than a month after Shiloh initially filed the paperwork to make the change. It appears that she is determined to move forward with her new moniker and to assert her own identity separate from her famous parents.
