As we shift towards full electrification, it’s time to bid farewell to our 2023 Cadillac LYRIQ after an exhilarating journey of 13,640 miles. Before parting ways, we took it for one last hands-free cruise, embracing the experience that this innovative electric vehicle has offered us.

The LYRIQ’s semi-autonomous driving feature, Super Cruise, has given us a mix of excitement and apprehension. Even as we learned to trust its capabilities, we always kept our hands close to the wheel. When we did activate Super Cruise, it performed beautifully—effortlessly staying centered in its lane and responding smoothly to road conditions. With just the push of a button on mapped roads, it transformed our driving experience, making long commutes a breeze.

Throughout our year with the LYRIQ, we’ve enjoyed its notably smooth and quiet ride. Although some functions required a bit of menu diving, we adapted quickly and came to appreciate the vehicle’s advanced technology. Our overall experience has been overwhelmingly positive, leaving us with heartfelt appreciation for this electric masterpiece.
