Blue Origin Successfully Lands Its New Glenn Rocket Booster for the First Time
In a landmark achievement for space exploration, Blue Origin has successfully landed its New Glenn rocket booster for the first time, showcasing cutting-edge technology and innovation in reusable rocketry. The launch sequence kicked off with a series of precise countdown steps, followed by the ignition of engines that propelled the rocket past Mach 1, marking its transition to supersonic speed.
As the launch progressed, the booster experienced maximum dynamic pressure—considered a critical test of its resilience. With real-time data indicating good control and stability, the separation from the second stage was executed smoothly, allowing the booster to begin its return journey. The excitement built as the booster descended from over 300,000 feet, conducted a controlled re-entry burn, and employed its strakes and fins for flight stabilization.
At approximately nine minutes into the mission, the landing process commenced. The burn for landing was executed flawlessly, and within moments, the New Glenn booster touched down successfully on the Jaclyn platform, 375 miles offshore. This achievement marks a significant step forward for Blue Origin and sets the stage for future missions, including satellite deployments and interplanetary exploration. The event underscores the company’s commitment to advancing space travel through reusable launch systems, heralding a new era in aerospace engineering.

Congrats to the Blue origin community!
Smoother landing that Elons.. 10yrs later but nice stick.
Can the audio be any worse? C'mon CNET. I could still understand some of the words.
It’s as if they stole all of SPACEX’s technology, announcers and cheering young crowd, copied it, and launched a rocket. I’ve seen this video before.
SpaceX Rules! Bezo drools.
Blue Origin = waste of money. You’re a day late and out millions of dollars Jeff.
Well done copied everything from SpaceX even the drone ship. It says blue origin, but nothing is original about it.
The lady commentator voice always over lap the man voice for mission announcement.
I saw Ed Sheeren.
Amazing engineering
I'd rather just hear the rocket.
Congrats to Blue Origin.
Amazing
Congratulations, New kind of Space engines in 'private' with NASA autorisations, financements as well national authorities and pentagon accords are develloping. This is new at this level of weight and technicity.
Nobody cares.
If those Americans were British they'd be just shaking hands and putting the kettle on.
Ahh, shaaad uuuup!
Your blue ordin is definitely not competition for SpaceX. SpaceX launches 2 or 3 rockets a week. Blue origin launches once every 10 or 11 months, not even close to SpaceX plus SpaceX lens right? Directly on the barge does not have to hover their rocket out over the water. And then bring it into the barge lot of fuel wasted, which means lots of money, which means reusability.
Sucks
So apparently blue origin isn't quite as good as SpaceX. They have to hover their rocket over the water. And then guide it in onto the barge.
X is still number one blue origin.I'm sorry, guys. You're just not there yet
Good job!
Please help me please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please 😢please help me please please please please please please
Stop celebrating done it 1969
The timing and timeline are so off😂😂😂 such lags
Buffering lol
完美
It might be a good idea for SpaceX and Blue Origin to focus on improving their camera technology, since the signal tends to drop at important times.
I was part of the New Glenn launch pad construction project this brought tears to my eyes…….now I'm part of Starship at 39A.
Meanwhile homeless people are starving as these buffoons burn millions per second….
FAKE…that's so clear not on the center and the next slide it is already at the docking. FAKE
Dumb. How about we go to lockeed crafts ?????
Congrats on things we did 50 years ago. We are flying around space with crafts.
Ask Jeff get a GoPro
Total garbage video. Every point that mattered it was either a frozen frame or a shot from inside the vehicle.
Even AI would have made a more convincing video.
Amazon deliveries now just got faster …🚀🚀🚀 😀😀😀
EPIC!
Wish we could see the future .lets do a cruise to the moon 😂 and then mars
Blue Origin is the same company that claims to have sent Katy Parry into orbit? Why believe this?
What is the deal with the audio on this? And why shop much yelling?
Buffering fail 😂
I Would enjoy this so much more without the color commentary by these two women. Annoying.
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Too much screaming. Too much woman talking over the flight controller. No professionalism! Terrible coverage!!
