Finally Happened! Elon Musk UNLOCKED 1000 Miles Range With NEW Lithium Metal Battery Soon!
In a groundbreaking announcement, Elon Musk has revealed that Tesla is on the verge of achieving a monumental milestone: a 1,000-mile range electric vehicle, powered by an innovative new lithium metal battery. For years, the vision of electric vehicles (EVs) capable of such impressive range has remained tantalizingly out of reach, but recent advancements may finally change that.
The EV industry has seen remarkable progress over the last decade, primarily driven by improvements in battery technology. However, the quest for a battery that can deliver exceptional range without sacrificing performance has presented numerous challenges. Engineers across the globe have experimented with various battery chemistries, but each promising solution has faced its own set of hurdles.
One contender in this race has been solid-state batteries, which are touted for their potential to revolutionize the EV market. While companies like Toyota have invested heavily in developing these batteries, they are still grappling with production and cost issues, making widespread adoption a challenge. Promising energy densities of up to 700 miles are not enough to overcome the current obstacles.
Enter Tesla’s battery partner, CATL. The world’s largest battery manufacturer has made waves by tripling the energy density of traditional lithium iron phosphate (LFP) cells with their new lithium metal battery. This significant achievement not only surpasses solid-state batteries by 33% but also offers an astounding 84% increase in energy density compared to Tesla’s own 4680 cells.
As Tesla gears up to introduce this revolutionary battery technology, the prospect of a 1,000-mile all-electric range is no longer a distant dream but a tangible reality on the horizon. Join us as we delve into the details of this game-changing development and what it means for the future of electric vehicles!

Will other automakers outside of Tesla get access to CATL’s lithium-metal batteries, or is this going to be a Tesla-exclusive edge?
Will CATL’s battery innovations shift global battery dominance even further toward China, and how should Western automakers respond?
Sodium-ion might not win the energy density race, but its cost, abundance, and long life make it perfect for affordable EVs and energy storage. Huge for developing markets.
How close are we to solving the degradation problem in lithium-metal anodes, and can AI-driven electrolyte research actually deliver results that fast?
The Naxtra battery’s 5-minute charging time blew my mind. That’s basically the final barrier to EV adoption—range anxiety and wait time gone in one shot.
Could the fast-charging potential of Naxtra batteries cause issues with grid demand if millions of cars start charging in 5 minutes?
CATL is basically doing what other battery companies have promised for a decade but never delivered. Their track record makes me believe these breakthroughs are real.
Can sodium-ion batteries power home energy storage solutions at a lower cost than lithium iron phosphate?
If lithium-metal batteries reach commercial durability, we’re talking about 1,000-mile EVs that weigh less, cost less, and charge faster. That’s a full-on leap, not an upgrade.
🔥 Lithium-metal batteries with 500+ Wh/kg? That’s absolutely game-changing. If Tesla really pulls this off with CATL, legacy automakers are going to be left scrambling.

CATL is a Chinese company. Trump is not going to like it.
BYD is using BYD batteries
This sounds fake .

Whether real or fake, there are two comments I have to make. First, yet another example of Elon Musk getting credit for other people's work and accomplishments (that's his MO). Second, everyone ignores the completely insufficient lithium reserves to make the battery volume necessary for global electric vehicles., much less for all the other battery requirements for electronics, storage, etc.
too late everyone Hates elon the pr is offf the charts….so sad
Why doesn’t Tesla have a true SUV?
should be interesting in 5 years.
Tesla has sent US consumers one lie after another. We’ve been told a Tesla 2 is in production and now it isnt. We’ve been told a Tesla phone is in production and will be affordable and a huge challenge to the Apple iPhone. Now it isnt. We’ve been told a Tesla Pi tablet in in production and will be available in only a few months and will be very affordable and a huge challenge to the Apple tablet. Now it isnt.
When will US consumers wake up to Teslas constant lying?
