Oh wow, the smallest building here inside of Saigon Vietnam. Maybe you should go ahead and try to go ahead and see if the building is still existed in 2000 and then you will compare it to the World Trade Center back from 2001. Yeah I’ve been a very good entire video here. Thank you for sharing this whole building AK😎👍!!

Dang, District 4 looks tiny here at Saigon AK!😮 But it's great to walk at District 4, so all people on motorbikes could arrive here, and plenty of buildings are at District 4 as well.🤭😏😅 Thanks for sharing that walk in District 4, which is a tiny District in Saigon AK!😌🤗🥹😇
Thanks so much AV I notice their color is a light greenish blue, it's noticable on their cars and buildings. Can you talk on whay that color is so dominate? OK Thanks and You Be Good
Nothing like snails and beer 🐌 🍺 🎉
Hey Ken , thank you for vid of district 4, love the amazing private? residences with their elaborate gates and the tiny retail business in the mix, we have to be impressed by the tenacity of the locals that have survived in really tough environment, also enjoyed your piece re the amazing hand held cam, yes the retail structure does seem to be wobbly, i think applying a tariff to a product not manufactured in the US is just unwarranted and helps nobody, side bar, check those power cables!! i feel for the service techs, be safe, peace
I love local walks like this, I watch Vietnamese youtubers daily but it's not the same with your videos, because they're on bikes, your videos are closer to what I used to do in Vietnam – walking.
There are 3 food streets in district 4: Vinh Khanh, Doan Van Bo and the street in front of Xom Chieu church, the 100+ year old church you almost there but turned right. Xom Chieu church is the first brick structure in the area according to French postcard. Vinh Khanh street used to be a small canal that's why it's curvy. All these food streets are busiest around the afternoon starting 6-7pm.
District 4 is an island but only Saigon river is natural, the other 2 rivers are man made during the French era, back then boats are the main mode of transportation especially for agriculture produces from the Mekong delta to Saigon.
Because of boat transport, people lived around the perimeter of the island, no road development inside, so poor people set up slumps crisscrossing the small canals and ponds and it set up an ideal mazes for gangsters to run and hide. 1980s back, police hesitated to chase criminals in here because they din't know the ways, hence district 4 got it fame "gangster district". My first time back in 2002 my family drove me around the core of district 4 and I still saw country like setting with grass field, ponds, coconut leaves shelters and chickens roaming around. Now land is getting pricey so every inch of it is being put to development, no more hide out for gangsters. Thanks for a cool walk!
They're slowing moving the 1km port to the new Thi Vai port, people hope Vincom will soon develop this, they had the render decade ago, with tall buildings lining district 4 waterfront.
Love this! This neighborhood was so interesting, I really enjoyed "walking" through it 🙂
