FIFA World Cup 2026 Launches Custom Sonic IDs With Miami-Specific Sound Produced by Mr. NaisGai

Ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2026 in North America, the organization has begun unveiling Sonic IDs for each host city, or “audio brands that celebrate diversity, creativity and the unifying power of sport through music,” produced by a local producer, according to a press release.

On Monday (March 3), Miami’s unique sound was unveiled with renowned hitmaker Mr. NaisGai selected to create that specific city’s custom Sonic ID. Capturing Miami’s eclectic mix of sounds, from Latin rhythms to electronic beats, the Miami Sonic ID is a cacophony of genres that represent the diverse music scene of that city.

“Creating the Miami Sonic ID was a unique opportunity to represent my Latinos and celebrate the city’s incredible energy and diversity through music,” Mr. NaisGai said in a statement. “This project allowed me to channel the essence of Miami into a melody that I hope will inspire and energize everyone during the FIFA World Cup 26.” (You can listen to it on FIFA’s YouTube channel.)

“The Miami Sonic ID is more than just a musical note; it’s a cultural statement. It showcases our vibrant community and the electric atmosphere that FIFA fans can expect when they visit our city for the tournament,” added Janelle Prieto, Miami host committee’s chief marketing and community officer.

Continuing through March 16, FIFA will partner with one host city each day to unveil its Sonic ID and the accompanying visualizer. The result will be an anthology that showcases the diversity and creativity of the host regions, offering fans a unique auditory journey through the tournament’s 16 locations. The Sonic ID will be used online and at in-person events throughout the build-up to the tournament.

The FIFA World Cup 2026 will feature 48 teams competing in 104 matches across three host nations: U.S., Mexico and Canada. You can check out the Sonic ID schedule, with each city’s respective producer, on FIFA’s official website.
