The Capitol building, a symbol of freedom & democracy, making it even more outrageous that Trump incited his followers to attack it!!! 🤯

He said dooty
I heard they burned it on purpose. They've gotten a billion so far? How is that enough?
No more cube shaped rooms with flat ceiling. I've heard that being in a cube affects your consciousness
4:12 . I appreciate that cameraman’s dedication.
I wonder if all the slaves are named that helped to build the building in Washington D.C.
He grew up in the world went from mapping floor's to a greedy politician oh how we fallen.
Benjamin Banneker Blackman, who blueprints were stolen, and he still built it from memory.the oblesik is 555 ft.tall now add 1=1555👁️👁️👁️
As a retired architect I give you kudos for a good report. I give you an "A" in architectural history. Thank you. 🙂
I am 80 years old and I have watched 60 Minutes for years, but never again. I don't trust a thing they say.
Have you noticed that these buildings only belong to the people when they want to use the peoples money to refurbish their working and living quarters. Take Notre Dame for instance the Vatican say it belongs to them so let the Vatican pay for it. The common people are being used for fun.
His story. Nothing is as it seems
Every episode WAS AWESOMELY AMAZING!!! Especially the one about MASS and Peter Marino❤ both made me feel actually PROUD to be a human being…when obviously with everything that has been going on lately here, is somewhat of an experience/knowing that we should all feel all the time but do not because of how disappointing mankind can be…thank you 60minutes! You have yet to disappoint😊
That painting was creepy AF lol
Yes that police officer needs to be fired and arrested
This is powerful and i pray it gets to be part of building all over the world!
Only freedom for some. Unfortunately, I don’t see us, the people will ever see the electoral college gone. Not everyone is willing to let go of the power they have with it!! Any freedom we thought we had before may disappear 🫥 before my eyes come November… and I can’t believe that I am forced to watch it happen before my eyes!!

So refreshing! Thank you 😊
A great reminder of what a colossal phoney Boehner was …
?WHY WOULD YOU BUY A HOME IN A HIGH RISE IN SAN FRANCISCO?
As a lifelong stone mason here in America, that was some high-end stone work they were doing in Rwanda. Very impressive, they were cutting every stone with a tight fit. That is very custom labor intensive and would cost a pretty penny here in America.
Thanks a lot
I remember when they started that building in SF, even then professionals said it was going to be a problem because of the soil. They didn’t care.
Where's the mention of Benjamin Banneker in this?
Amazing episodes I love history story .
I hope those sweet fellas got their 3-4 million back in the settlement 🥹
Nice to hear about DC besides the horrible politics

One day soon all those buildings will look like the ruins of Egypt, Greece, Rome, and London. All capitals fall. All governments end.
If Trump is elected, the meaning of freedom will no longer have meaning, so the statue on top of the dome of the capital which serves as freedom will no longer be needed so be prepared for another part of America's History disappears before your very eyes. This text is for all of you Trump followers who say you enjoy freedom.
Holy cow. That Dome is so much bigger than most Americans would ever think without watching this. It's an absolute monster and quite a feet for the mid-1800s
I can't believe they went with lead tiles in the reconstruction of Notre Dame.
For the blind architecture, What God can’t do doesn’t exist, to God be the Glory 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙌🙌🙏🏾
Not one word is mentioned about the name of the statue…ladies and gentlemen, the statue on top of the Capitol Building is "Columbia," the FEMALE personification of the Spirit of America. Go ladies!!
