The government should increase taxes so all newcomers can have an affordable place to live in Canada.
Just turn the Middle East off who cares this not North American problems 🥱
Israel needs to get out of Gaza …
Syrian " refugees"whining about housing costs in Canada is so tone deaf you just can't make it up.
The lake is not your big sister, i don't care what anybody says
Who cares who what they say, they're out
Well of course! If such a ridiculous idea as granting personhood to CORPORATIONS was implemented, the least we can do is grant personhood to natural ecosystems, rivers, forests, tall grass prairies. But these must NOT be financialized for profit as the greedy profit seekers are already trying to do. Beware! They are already profiting off of iur data without paying us a cent. Billions of dollars worth of our data which is sold to governments, private intelligence firms, marketers, etc. Capitalism is out of control! Whatever happened to REASONABLE profits?! Today exec salary is 300x average worker’s. In the 1970s it was only 30x. And John Rustad still believes in trickle down economics! He wants to privatize it all – the whole BC. He also said he will do away with FOIA (freedom of information act). He claims he will be sooooo transparent! Justin said the SAME thing in 2015! Don’t believe any of them, but don’t privatize our province! We would all regret it. A study in Ontario found that when univeral health care is supplemented by private workers, like when a company lends a hospital nurses, the nurse makes a little bit more, the company makes a big profit, and the taxpayers are paying almost twice as much for that private nurse!!! Rustad, like all conservatives, will only increase corporate profits – not yours!
Israel provokes, so that they can say they have to "defend themselves". Like a narcissistic person. Basically creating reasons for "self defense". Was this pager attack necessary? And diplomatic solution would be Israel occupying Gaza, West-Bank and Southern-Lebanon?
To be clear, with Netanyahu, every accusation against the Palestinians is a confession of what his government has done.
Not that anywhere is affordable now bc of these equity firms – I hope the Gov deals w them soon! But also perhaps help refugees to move out of the most expensive city in the country!
Why does Hezbollah even exist ?????
Whoever in the Government decided to place those refugees in Vancouver (out of all other more affordable Canadian cities) should get fired, what the heck were they thinking. Sure, Vancouver is one of the most expensive cities in the world, let’s put more low income households in this city. The stupid decisions this government continues to make never cease to amaze me.
Labaik ya Hussain as
Lebanon has the right to defend itself
Family of 8 on social assistance. Only in Canada
May Love Peace Prevail In The World….
Hezbollah shouldn't have initiated this against Israel
Israel always won quick war but this is becoming longer war which is not favor for Israel because if all men fights war and no one work then who is going to support economy? What is worse for Israel is that most free world including most EU countries do not support Israel attacking Palestine civilians. Israel is also losing support from many Americans due to attacking on Palestine civilians. Israel never experienced grinding open war and longer war favors Arabs with back up supports from rich Saudi and Gulf States.
Gotta save lake Winnipeg, human lives depend on it!!
Nothing new here, this is over 2,500 years of conflict. God messed up creating 3 major religions in close proximity to each other. This is not going to end well for the Middle East East
Higher taxes for property investment buyers, whether private (e.g.Airbnb, "flippers" and speculators) or commercial. That's the solution to the unaffordable/insufficient housing market. Homes shouldn't be for profit, that's what stock markets and businesses are for.
All trying to migrate to other countries to infiltrate the other government system.
Look at the migrant and refugees creating unrest.
Those who survived WW2 have been saying " History is always repeating itself, the same mistakes are being repeated and no one seems to learn a darn thing from the previous Wars ". The ten dollar a day Daycare has been squeezing out children with special needs such as Autism , leaving their parents scrambling for solutions because the assistants who were previously employed to help with the children have been suddenly found to be not fit for the job because new legislation states they suddenly need to also have ECE education in order to assist and be employed by the ten dollar daycare. They are hurting the children again and again and again.
Lake Winnipeg has ‘a right to life like any person’ … but a baby in the womb does not? Does anyone out there see what’s wrong with this thinking?
😅 the news is so dishonest.
To all children everywhere. “Always treat others as you would like them to treat you.” And “Love your neighbour as yourself.” That is the Law and the Prophets of God our true Father in heaven and on earth.
So never worship and pray in the way of the many false prophets who lead all religions.
“But when you pray, go into a room by yourself, and shut the door. Pray to your Father who is there in the secret place; and your Father who sees what is secret will reward you openly.
In your prayers do not go babbling on like the heathen, who imagine that the more they say the more likely they are to be heard. Do not imitate them. Your Father knows what your needs are before you ask him.
This is how you should pray:
Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name,
Your kingdom come; your will be done, on earth as in heaven,
Give us today our daily bread,
Forgive us the wrong we have done, as we have forgiven those who have wronged us.
And do not bring us to the test, but save us from the evil one.
For yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory, for ever.
Amen.
For if you forgive others the wrongs they have done, your heavenly Father will also forgive you; but if you do not forgive others, then the wrongs you have done will not be forgiven by your Father.” – (The Prophet and Messiah Jesus of Nazareth at Matthew 6: 6-15) –
“Pass no judgement, and you will not be judged. For as you judge others, so you will yourselves be judged, and whatever measure you deal out to others will be dealt back to you.” – (at Matthew 7: 1-2) –

“Always treat others as you would like them to treat you: that is the Law and the Prophets.
Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life and only a few find it.” – (Matthew 7: 12-14) –
“I am the gate; anyone who comes into the fold through me shall be safe. He shall go in and out and shall find pasturage.
The thief comes only to steal, to kill, to destroy; I have come that men may have life, and may have it in all its fullness.” – (John 10: 9-10) –
“Beware of false prophets, men who come to you dressed up as sheep while underneath they are savage wolves. You will recognize them by the fruits they bear.” – (Matthew 7: 15-16) –
“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.” – (Matthew 7: 21) –
“I am the resurrection and I am life. If a man has faith in me, even though he dies, he shall come to life; and no one who is alive and has faith shall ever die.” – (John 11: 25-26) –
“I have not come to judge the world, but to save the world” – (John 12: 47) –
“Whoever then will acknowledge me before men, I will acknowledge him before my Father in heaven; and whoever disowns me before men, I will disown him before my Father in heaven.” – (Matthew 10: 32-34) –
“I am the way; I am the truth and I am life; no one comes to the Father except by me. If you knew me you would know my Father too.” – (John 14: 6-7) –
“An expert in the law, [a leading religious Pharisee] tested him with this question: ‘Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?’ He answered, ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind. That is the greatest commandment. It comes first. The second is like it: Love your neighbour as yourself. Everything in the Law and the Prophets hangs on these two commandments.’” – (Matthew 22: 35-40) –
“There is no greater love than this, that a man should lay down his life for his friends.” – (John 15: 13) –
“Do not call any man on earth ‘father’ ; for you have one Father and he is in heaven. Nor must you be called ‘teacher’ ; you have one Teacher, the Messiah.’” – (Matthew 23: 9-10) –
“Take care that no one misleads you: For many will come claiming my name…” – (Matthew 24: 4) –
“Many false prophets will arise, and will mislead many; and as lawlessness spreads, men’s love for one another will grow cold. But the man who holds out to the end will be saved. ” – (Matthew 24: 11-13) –
“Teach them to observe all that I have commanded you. And be assured, I am with you always, to the end of time.” – (Matthew 28: 20) –
Yours, in true Spirit and in our one given prayer, 2gointruth, on Monday the 23rd of September 2024: – (Please read Matthew 5: 14-16) – Where every minute (of both day and night) can be a new beginning for any one of us. Let it always be you. Pray to God often, as prescribed above, before it is too late.
Canadians are not blaming immigrants and foreign students for the housing crisis. We’re blaming Trudeau for tripling immigration numbers to a level that the countries economy cannot absorb.
Do you remember the days when immigration was designed for the benefit of Canada rather than one political party
I’ve had enough of your fragrant biased news reporting global. You don’t even try to be subtle about it anymore. Infecting the masses with your leftist ideologies – you are so far from non partisan reporting it’s pathetic. Our country will not get better until these criminal media outlets are called out for what they are.
15:10 what type of disability do the have? the suck of the Canadian government disability. Not being able find a job shouldn't be considered a disability.
If you want to come to Canada or I'll go anywhere else in the world and wanna have a house.Especially a nice one then you need to work like the rest of us
Everyday I gain knowledge of how ridicules the country has becomes by these news. And our taxes paid not enough to cover all of these nonsense claims, liabilities…. thank you.
