Asus ROG Ally X: Upgraded Gaming Handheld Unveiled: What’s New and Improved
Asus Republic of Gamers has recently unveiled the upgraded version of their popular gaming handheld, the Asus ROG Ally X. This new model has been redesigned with feedback from users and reviewers to address the shortcomings of the original Ally. While the AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme processor and 7-inch full HD 120Hz touch display have remained the same, there have been significant improvements in other areas.
One of the main updates is the increase in storage capacity, with the Ally X now offering a 1TB option. Additionally, the RAM has been increased to 24GB of shared memory, which should enhance performance. The battery pack has also been doubled to 80Wh, providing longer gaming sessions.
Furthermore, the design of the device has been enhanced with deeper hand grips, redesigned controls, and improved cooling system. The addition of Thunderbolt USB-C ports and a new cooling system make the Ally X a more versatile and efficient gaming handheld.
While the price has increased to $800, the improvements make the Ally X a worthwhile investment for serious gamers. Overall, the Ally X offers a more powerful and comfortable gaming experience compared to its predecessor.
