Iran has launched an attack on Israel for only the second time, firing missiles in response to a series of perceived humiliations. The strike follows the recent assassination of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah and the targeting of the group’s commanders, leaving many wondering if the retaliation will lead to further escalations.
The panel on Francois Picard’s show on France 24 discussed the implications of Iran’s attack on Israel, questioning how the United States, currently in a state of limbo ahead of the presidential election, will respond to the situation. With tensions already high in the region, the panel raised concerns about the potential for a spiral of violence if cooler heads do not prevail.
The attack underscores the volatile state of affairs in the Middle East, with Iran and Israel engaged in a longstanding rivalry marked by proxy conflicts and tit-for-tat skirmishes. As world leaders monitor the situation closely, the need for diplomatic efforts to de-escalate tensions and prevent further violence becomes increasingly urgent.
With the region already on edge, the international community must act swiftly to prevent a wider conflict from erupting. As Iran and Israel navigate this latest escalation, the stakes are high and the potential for further violence looms large.

It seems most of the missiles were not intercepted despite prior warning from America.
This shows desperation and weakness not strength by the Iranian regime. After the Gaza invasion and the start of the Lebanon operation, they know that their support of Arab proxies won't be able to be continued for long.
Arming one side and disarming the other is unfair and is not logical.
Iran just tries to keep their nation and no aim on war against Israel who look for expanding the war by beging help of their proxies
To put it mildly : When you don't know what's going on, it's best to wait and see. Then report after you get checked facts.
