Israeli air strikes on Lebanon continued to intensify on Friday, with a fresh wave of attacks rocking the capital city of Beirut. The airstrikes were part of Israel’s ongoing battle against the Lebanese armed group Hezbollah.
The sound of a huge explosion was heard just outside Beirut’s international airport, which is located near Dahieh – Hezbollah’s stronghold in the capital. According to multiple US media reports citing Israeli officials, one of the key targets of the strikes was Hashem Safieddine, who is seen as a potential successor to Hezbollah’s long-standing leader, Hassan Nasrallah. Nasrallah was reportedly killed in a similar attack last week, although Safieddine’s condition following the airstrike is currently unknown.
The escalating tension between Israel and Hezbollah has raised concerns about the potential for further violence and instability in the region. The ongoing airstrikes have sparked fears of a wider conflict between the two sides, with the situation remaining volatile and unpredictable.

You don't report about the deaths in Israel and the thousands of rockets, missiles and drones fired at Israel from last year's October. But you are on ground to convince the world that Israel is killing innocent civilians, women and children, and now aid workers. Are you a mouthpiece for terrorists?
Bbc hamas
You people didn’t advise Hezbollah and now everyone is blaming Israel 🇮🇱
🔯🔯God Bless Israel🔯🔯
Thats a religious war 😢 because all Religions are DEAD , thats between Israel Christians ( pheresies 😢 who claimed beeing Christians Yet dont behave like they lnow Jesus at all ) and Muslims ( if You dont know who Allah is – think about Baal 😢 Satan )

🇮🇱🇮🇱🇮🇱🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭🇮🇱🇮🇱🇮🇱🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭
Well then your fate is sealed
This is all because of the death cult of a fanatical ideology of Allah!
BBC was excited when Iran sent 400 missiles but today they are sad again.
I express my sorrow to the original English people, who give their island so willingly to towel-headed leaders and Sharia law.
💪💪🇮🇱🇮🇱🇺🇸🇺🇸💪💪❤️❤️
Is it Lebanese Independence day? There are so many fireworks!
Look how sad the reporter is. When Iran or Hamas is attacking Israel, they smile. They don't mention that it attacks without warning. Here they report with a sombre voice.
Now the difference is clear, Lebanon will never remain the same. Respect isreal, respect it's authority and peace will prevail.
the arabs keep shrinking and shrinking
Lebanon authority says all boarders are controlled😅😅😅.who is the authority?
And who they targeted on West Bank?
🇮🇱🇮🇱🇮🇱🇮🇱🇮🇱🇮🇱🇮🇱
These strikes are targeted at Hezbollah sites! Not at civilians. But Hezbollah embeds themselves in population areas.
A bunch of Z’s in here. I go now. It’s disgusting. Happy new year. Good luck ✌🏼😂
BBC was my go to news source many years ago. No More like the CNN, ABC Australia etc as they only see one side and believe what terrorist say.
The BBC is so sad Israel is defending itself. Israeli casualties are not mentioned just pure jihadist propaganda.
They shouldn't " F" with Israel.
Why you at BBC don’t like peaceful idea? Don’t support terrorist please 🙏
I love my continent, Africa🌍, where countries border each other closely, and despite the religious and political differences, we never fight against each other….. it's all about love, peace, and unity💯❣❣…pray for those affected by the ongoing strikes🙏..
Question:Is Hezbollah a terrorist organisation?
whole street is in chaos yet those bandages and gloves look like they have been placed for effect, this is why no one trusts the BBC
"This Hazbulla MP remains defiant"….that sounds an awful lot like they're supporting Hazbullah in this situation; not only that, but they bring on someone speaking sympathetically to Hizbullah, and then the guy from the Middle East knows immediately where the gun imports are coming from to that go into Lebanon. Yeah, trust the BBC to be going against an ally of Britain and the US in a situation like this. This whole broadcast reeks of bias towards Hazbullah, you don't even have to know what's going on to see how bias this is.
This guy saying Balastic miseles brought to Lebanon underground tunnels 😂
We stupid or he is stupid?
Islam should be wiped out from the world.
No warning get real, Isreal has said a million times if you attack Isreal we will attack back.
Stop attacking Isreal and they won't attack you.
I don't believe anything BBC says anymore.
Propaganda and one sided lies.
Isreal will go down in history as worse than Nazi Germany
I extend my heartfelt condolences to all the members of CNN, DW, BBC, and the United Nations who were injured or affected by the recent pager and walkie-talkie incidents.
I’ll trade you 12 girl soccer players for 97 emergency workers. Never mind that we started the conflict in the North, and have ignored the terms of the 2006 ceasefire for all 18 years. Sound fair?
Bbc should quit now . They lost 😊
