What is in a "Greek Omelet" per se? Are there standard ingredients apart from eggs (of course)?
31:50 and 33:04 — Pity that graffiti pervades almost everywhere, isn't it? I hate it most when lovely artwork gets covered up.

is this the same island where they filmed brad pitt and his myrmidons to defeat Hectors army?
Facinating 🙏🥰
I am ever reminded of just how much of the whole world is indebted to the Greeks and Romans.
43:31 — I love your cap, Gabriel. I reckon it is my favourite one, of the bunch that you have worn.
A slice of pizza costs as much at any Whole Foods store, as Two slices costs in Greece

Gabriel, when you were on the isle of Lefkada, you were right across from Slorpios, which is where the Aristotle Onassis family compound was located!
Jackie O lived there, too.
It would have been a hoot to see inside his home, and other structures there!
Thanks for sharing! It is truly stunning!
37:22 This is Georgios Anemogiannis, among other, during the siege, he shout, "Brothers you want freedom then I ll fall first for it", he set his boat on fire and among shootings and cannonballs, he crashed it and burn the leading ship of Turkish navy, he was captured alive slow cooked on a split and his body hanged over the castle walls.
Epic exploration!
Greece is way too expensive, locals can't afford to travel, so is Portugal, road tolls are higher than the cost of gas, but they have rest areas with running water, there is nothing in Spain, if you need to use washroom in Spain, you have to ask for it at the gas station.
Such an interesting visit to Nicropolis. Great history regarding how it came to be. Looks very well preserved considering how old it is. Great you stopped off at Nafpaktos, looks very picturesque there with the fortified harbour. Great start to your Peloponnese adventure, looking forward to seeing more. ❤
I remember watching Cleopatra with my parents when I was a kid… I loved it then and need to watch it again. Greece looks so awesome… lots of history! Love these Greece videos… thank you for sharing!!! 😎💙✌
Nafpaktos!!! WOW! Next time you pass there on the way to delphi, visit the castle.
I am a big fan of your content. For many years. You do great work. I wish that you could possibly meet up with Chris and Carrol @ jumping places on YouTube. They are travelling in your area? But you three I believe would travel well. Love. Cheers brother
When you go to Temple of Apollo Epicurius at Bassae of Phigaleia, you can stay in Andritsaina which is just down the road and eat at a restaurant across from a spring that comes out of a tree. The restaurant is called Cooking Recipes, on the main road. The food is fantastic. This temple of Apollo is a must see. It sits by itself on top of the mountain.
You should check out Nafplio…the first capital of the newly Ottoman free Greece…wonderful hike to Fort Palamidi with great views; lot's of history in the old town re: the war of independence!
i can't believe i was there his win wit'/you!!

Here was a highly important Aetolian sanctuary dedicated to Apollo and Artemis. It is located southwest of the site’s acropolis and was in use up to Roman times. There used to be a chryselephantine statue of Artemis in the sanctuary and a tomb for the hero Leon. Excavations where done by Greece and Denmark in the 1930s.
