The lack of attempt to reach out to the family is not okay. Just because its not you doesnt mean its not hurtful for someone else
This is sick
How embarrassing from these rich hospitals
Medicine is about healing — not capitalism. It's likely they invested a lot more effort into finding buyers for his brother's body parts than searching for his next of kin —- he could lawyer up and file a multi-axis lawsuit against the hospital on desecration of a body, theft of a body, and resultant emotional trauma.
Greed
This is not ok prayers for all the families 😢❤
How very Texas.
Again, you guys are being treated like cattle by the "health system", by corporations and whoever bought those bodies.
It's very easy to find family members, I do genealogical research and trust me, you can find anyone you want. They didn't want to do it, they could care less. They don't think of you as human beings.
You would have thought that the atrocities at the Sunset Mesa Funeral Home, committed by Megan Hess would have resulted in reform, but clearly not. Disgusting.
Terrible! Capitalism at its worst!
They had his name. Why didn't they reach out just a little further to find their next of kin. Even a friend of the person, could notify family. This is unbelievable…💔
This should never happen.
Texas…. Glad I left decades ago.
"Leasing" human bodies shouldn't be a thing, no matter the status of it. Period.
GEEZUS
Calling it "body donation" when they're stealing and selling the bodies of vulnerable people they think no one will miss is evil. None of the health industries care about people. It's psychopathic.
See why media can't lie and start doing the news? Tell MSNDNC that.
Horrible.
Look at how many people are profiting from those bodies and their parts – of course they don't want to contact families if they don't have to do so.
1,800 unclaimed bodies from Dallas and Tarrant counties? Let that sink in and then ask youself … do you really believe that many people check in but never check out AND have absolutely no family, friend's or anyone checking up on them? That seems impossible since the hospitals ensure you go through registrations.
And they call criminals criminals crazy
There needs to be more Federal oversight of the Death Industry.
Gravesite theft all over again, nothings changed in hundreds of yrs. For profit body theft.
