Deputies in Florida had to swiftly act and use a PIT maneuver to stop a suspect after a nearly 20-mile chase on Interstate 95. The St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office was able to successfully apprehend a 42-year-old woman who had initially fled from law enforcement. Despite the suspect trying to evade capture, multiple agencies worked together to bring the pursuit to an end and ensure the safety of the public. Unfortunately, two Florida Highway Patrol troopers sustained injuries during the intense chase. The suspect was ultimately taken into custody, thanks to the quick thinking and coordination of the deputies involved.
