When it comes to getting to Dubrovnik, there are a few different travel options available. One common option is flying into Dubrovnik Airport, which is about 15 miles outside the city center. From the airport, you can easily take a shuttle bus or rent a car to reach the old town. However, cars are not allowed inside the old town, so avoid renting one unless necessary.

Another popular option is taking a bus or train to Dubrovnik from other cities in Croatia or neighboring countries. This is the option we chose, taking a bus from the nearby city of Mostar to the Dubrovnik bus station. From there, we used Uber to travel around the city, as it is widely available and convenient.

The best time to visit Dubrovnik is in late spring or early fall when the weather is mild and the crowds are much smaller than during the peak summer season. During these months, you can enjoy exploring the charming old town and relaxing along the beautiful beaches.

By buying the pass, you can save money and make the most of your visit to Dubrovnik.

In addition to walking the walls, be sure to visit the St. Lawrence Fortress, which is located just outside the city gates. This fortress offers another perspective of Dubrovnik and can be a great place to watch the sunset.
