As far as the bus schedule you have to remember that you are on Mexico Time – which is we get there when we get there
👍👍👍
It looks quaint
Is Cuba in your near future?
The whole of Riviera Nayarit is beautiful man. Cheaper and more authentic than Riviera Maya too. Careful with those crocodiles!
I know this sounds unlikely but you were on the wrong end of Bucerias Beach! The other end is very quiet as it is far away from centro (like in Suyulita). That's also where all the surf rental stuff and hippie vibe restaurants are (along with fancy too). I also love San Pancho and Suyulita-viva Mexico!
😎👍🏻 I'll give Sayulita another go next time I go back to PV. Thanks amigo.
Mazatlán was my first town I visited as a teen with my buddies. Cannot believe we were 17 and went to Mazatlán on our own. Many years ago. Got me hooked on Mexico.
Less rides from Punta de Mita – so Uber charges more to get there since driver usually has to deadhead back to busier area
The original Mita townsite was uprooted for the 4seasons resort at the end of the road. Its a bit rough but still a nice place with good waves and better water than sayulita. The beaches are better east of where you were. Checkout La Lanche.
Look up William Taudin , he is another YouTuber that is living in Bucerias right now and another world traveler, maybe you can get together
GABE! You skipped a real gem! La Cruz de Huancaxle, between Bucerias and Punta de Mita. It's a chill fishing village, marina, fish market, many splendid restaurants. Playa La Manzanilla has crystal clear water with virtually no waves. Great restaurant on the beach, siete mares. Great Sunday farmers market at the marina.
Gabriel, what about a video talking about the countries you HAVEN'T been to and that you would like to visit!? 😊
Nice to see how easy it is to explore the coastline with all those little beach towns. Looks like a lot of fun! And yeah, when its long, wide and hot I usually rub it a couple of inches down. So great tip there.
I love the mexican vibes! Thanks for sharing! As for the big waves there, I have been in Bequia & Tobago Keys in the Caribbean in the month of December, and the sea was not full of waves. It was actually very mellow. There is not much to see there, but the landscape and the sea are beautiful, also the food was great, but I was sailing so I don''t know how do you get there in other ways.
Stayed in Sayulita for a week or so – a while ago. It was 17$/nt for a good basic hotel room. The waves were crowded even then…! You are experiencing a set of LARGE NW Swells that are uncommon to reach Sayulita from the Gulf of Alaska. Summer is the bigger wave season.

Fabulous upload here big thumbs up Happy New Year 🎉🎉🎉🎉
What about traveling around the Yucatán, visiting cenotes and some of the ruins?
This genre of Youtubers trying to make living off "dumpy Mexican beach towns", seems to be ending. If I were given free round trip airfare, hotel and meals, I would not bother.
Gabriel did visit fantastic Canadian Rockies, Parks in the US, Greece…….maybe Chile Patagonia, or Easter Island, instead of another one of 1000s, Youtube videos of dumpy Mexican beach towns, where you cannot even leave your blanket without your stuff getting stolen. Plus the one beach Gabriel showed had no people, because the sewage river drains right down onto the beach canal, which is typical in Mexico.
Would you prefer Sayulita to Puerto Escondido? Or what do you think your favorite Mexican beach town is?
7:42 It is call Banderas Bay.
I live in Bucerias full time, it's a laid back life here, although summers are swelteringly humid.
13:11 Yes, full of so called expats.
You didn't go to golden zone, or zona dorada in bucerias, that's the nice part.
gabe we need u and bucherios joel for colab asap
Have 1 question your room was it a single or double as price seems steep for what it is…only if you have time …thank you for the continually honest reviews…even if you were at wrong end waves would ve been same. .you look like u need a bitvof a rest from the video making lol. .
Greetings from Lake Tahoe. I see you were just in our neck of the woods. I recommend you do visit Mazatlan since you are so close. Check out the lighthouse if you go. Maybe consider stopping for a day or two at San Blas along the way. The area between Santa Cruz (Miramar) and San Blas is nice. There's a cool waterfall (El Cora) near Santa Cruz that makes a fun day trip, although it does take some planning to get there.
Chacala would be awesome as well.
💡👍Brilliant !!
William Taudien's last name is pronounced tow-deen
i think bali or polynesia would be great, they've both been richly googleable lately!! . . .
Dig that music!
Hey Gabe, you should checkout Puerto Escondido or Mazunte both are one my fav beach towns on the Pacific side of Mexico
I have stayed in Punta de Mita for a few yrs. You walked pass the beautiful place but you can't see it unless you go inside.
You needed to turn left & keep on going down the beach past the rock piles. Then you will find a local restaurant on the best beach of all of them & my favourite; It's shallow and good for body surfing. You could have walked to the end of the street to get there as well…a bit grubbier but once you're there it's babulous. Another thing: on low tide you can walk miles to LaPlancha Surfers Beach and in front of mansions. Heck you can walk all the way to Bucerias.
LaCrux de Huanaxle has the best market on Sundays mornings, crowded but good food.
The beach and town at the southern end of Bucerías is nicer and more separated from the highway. About 10 mins along the beach from where you were.
Sorry Gabriel but you realy missed out on Bucerias. As a favorit of us elderly Canadians you simply missed out on the spirit of this town. It is not just a place along the highway.
