It's INEVITABLE!, …..With the destruction of the environment, global warming, etc.,….eventually, like Florida, and other states and even certain countries, ………mudslides, tornadoes, sinkholes, hurricanes, earthquakes, etc…….A LOT to consider!

The climate has been in a constant state of change for billion of years. Stop making a big deal out of it. Don't live where water flows. Problem solved.

“Climate Refugees” so dramatic
Ahh yes, “IMPACT” the media’s trigger-word du jour. From local news to national, they love to tell us how we’re going to be impacted by something. Keep-em scared, keep-em tuned in.
Umm… I've lived by the shore in ct for 52 years. The sea level has not changed at all. Climate change is a political ideology, plain and simple.
Build close to the water, suffer the consequences.
This is so embarrassing for 60 minutes!
Used to be respected , now just propaganda and democrats talking points !
Notice the old docks!
They would be underwater if climate change was real ?
Title is clickbait. The video is mostly interviews with locals about their lifestyle. Nothing showed an island struggling to survive impact of rising sea level.
I get it but things can't stay the same and they have to move on.

Oh. You’re talking about the part of the bay that’s subsiding as the former parts of the northeast, once pressed DOWN by 2 miles of glacier are now bobbing UP, tilting the land further south DOWN or is it sliding into an ancient meteor impact crater in the Chesapeake? Funny how geology and natural climate change effects work.
This Monday starts my 8 weeks on Smith Island. Hopefully that's it. Not that I don't like it there but it's the height of BUG SEASON!
It's really simple. Build large and tall stone pier-like forts and build many tiny houses powered by solar.
