The children of Gaza are living in a state of constant trauma, with no respite from the horrors they have experienced. In a video titled “Can Gaza’s children survive its ‘colonial trauma’?” by The Take, the heartbreaking reality of the ongoing trauma faced by these young victims is brought to light.
The video highlights the fact that for the children of Gaza, there is no such thing as a “post” in post-traumatic stress disorder. The trauma they have endured is a constant presence in their lives, leaving them with deep emotional scars that may never fully heal.
The video showcases the stories of many children who have survived unimaginable hardships, including bombings, violence, and the loss of loved ones. These children are forced to navigate a world of ongoing conflict and insecurity, where their very survival is constantly threatened.
The Take raises important questions about the long-term impact of this trauma on Gaza’s children, and whether they will ever be able to truly heal from the scars of their experiences. It also explores the role of colonialism in perpetuating this cycle of trauma, and the urgent need for greater support and resources to help these young victims cope with their pain and suffering.
Overall, “Can Gaza’s children survive its ‘colonial trauma’?” sheds light on a heartbreaking reality that is often overlooked in discussions about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. It serves as a powerful reminder of the urgent need for compassion, empathy, and support for the children of Gaza as they continue to grapple with the devastating effects of ongoing trauma.

RUBBLE
Why was I born in the rubble,
Did I do something wrong, get into trouble?
Will I end my life under the rubbles weight,
Living in this hazy, suffocating state?
Please don't silence my voice or condemn my plea,
For talking of rubble and seeking your empathy.

Who's causing the " olonial trauma"?
Most of that region and more didn't become primary Muslim without some colonialism.
Hamas should be ashamed for the situation they left their people in.
This is heartbreaking. And remember this is intentional by isNotReal
I love Al Jazerra. I visit their website every day to read about how Israel continues to take the fight to the terrorists Hamas and Hezbollah. It is unfortunate that Gazans and the Lebanese people allow these terrorists to exist and even support them. It’s also unfortunate that the innocent children must bear the suffering brought on them through the actions of their parents.
“Israel’s Netanyahu brings his dirty laundry to Washington. Literally.”The Washington Post
Over the years, the Israeli leader has developed a reputation among the staff at the U.S. president’s guesthouse for bringing special cargo on his trips to Washington: bags and suitcases full of dirty laundry, according to U.S. officials familiar with the matter.
The clothes are cleaned for the prime minister free of charge by the U.S. staff, a perk that is available to all foreign leaders but sparingly taken advantage of given the short stays of busy heads of state.
“The Netanyahus are the only ones who bring actual suitcases of dirty laundry for us to clean,” said one U.S. official, who like others spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss the details of a foreign leader’s visits. “After multiple trips, it became clear this was intentional.”
