We followed the step-by-step installation of new leaders from the rebel movement. From the gilded halls of the presidential palace to the gloomy cells of the infamous Saydnaya prison, this film lifts the veil on the vestiges of an authoritarian system.
But while some exiles are contemplating a return to their homeland, others are opting for exodus, fearful of the new regime’s direction. Who are HTS and what are the real intentions of the jihadist rebels led by Abu Mohammed Al-Joulani? What will be the fate of minorities, particularly Christians and Alawites, in this new political configuration?
