Despite the Paksitani narrator's efforts to market the glove-making process in Pakistan, sophisticated and complex, the video clearly demonstrates that the production relies on simple, basic, very low-tech, traditional and old-fashioned methods, like everything else in Pakistan.
Clearly not "high tech" . Good quality, probably, but what was shown is a relatively standard to simple manufacturing process. Also why was the inspector wearing the gloves barefist. Surely they could use hand casts or at least wear disposable gloves.
Good 👍😊
But…Select is not known as the best gk gloves brand..Reusch and Uhlsport are recognized globally by pro GKs as the best, then you have Adidas and Nike and so on. Select is only known for their latex footballs, which are great for club and youth training. So, how much did Select pay Business Insider?
350,000 made in 2026 yet I’ve never seen this glove on a goalkeeper.
So how much of the $160 do the workers get?
$160 but they cost them $20-$30 do make

In highschool in the 90s, we used baseball batting gloves. I think our local sporting goods store had 1 type of cleats and shin guards. That was the extent of soccer equipment then. I remember shopping for cleats for my youngest about 10 years ago and the same store had an entire section for just soccer. Wasn't my preferred sport or one I was even decent at, but it is awesome to see the craze in the States now. Go UK.
I misread the title as " The Gloves Behind Soccer's Biggest *SLAVES*" and was like. Yep title on point for once.
You know it's called football. So why does your title say soccer?
Make it make sense.
It's called football.
Even the economy of shit talking FIFA is profitable. The whole existence of football is evil and highlight profitable I wish I had invested in that sooner
Feels like most of the work done is repetitive, why not automate??
2:45 The video says $80 per meter. Is that per square meter?
The people behind the big game
Ripoff soccer gloves. Any full athletic glove will work just fine.
