Billboard’s Year-End Charts have been revealed, including the Year-End Hot Latin Songs list, with 100 titles that dominated the year.
Finishing off strong at No. 1 is FloyyMenor and Cris MJ’s out-of-nowhere hit “Gata Only,” which spent 14 consecutive weeks at the top. The newcomers made history along the way, becoming the first Chileans to top the chart (La Ley and Ednita Nazario’s “Tú Sabes Bien” made the top 10 a quarter-century ago). “Gata Only” also won Global 200 Latin Song of the Year at the 2024 Billboard Latin Music Awards.
Bad Bunny and Feid come in second place with “Perro Negro.” Released in 2023 as part of the former’s Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va A Pasar Mañana album. The bonafide jam also nabbed the 2024 Latin Grammy for best reggaetón performance.
Other songs that top the Hot Latin Songs year-end chart include Xavi’s “La Diabla” and Karol G’s “Si Antes Te Hubiera Conocido.” See the full top 10 list below.
Billboard’s year-end music recaps represent aggregated metrics for each artist, title, label and music contributor on the weekly charts from Oct. 28, 2023 to October 19, 2024. Rankings for Luminate-based recaps reflect equivalent album units, airplay, sales or streaming during the weeks that the titles appeared on a respective chart during the tracking year. Any activity registered before or after a title’s chart run isn’t considered in these rankings. That methodology detail, and the October-October time period, account for some of the difference between these lists and the calendar-year recaps that are independently compiled by Luminate.
