If you’re a fan of flavorful, bold, and downright delicious food, then you won’t want to miss this episode of Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives featuring the best spots in Houston with none other than Guy Fieri. From Greek Lamb Shanks at Niko Niko’s to the Short Rib Sandwich at Weights and Measures, every dish Guy tries is sure to leave you wanting more.
One standout dish that caught Guy’s attention was the Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit from The Toasted Coconut. This southern-inspired dish combines sweet and savory flavors in a mouthwatering combination that will have you coming back for seconds.
Another must-try spot in Houston is The Pit Room, where Guy sampled their Sausage Dinner. Juicy, flavorful sausage served with all the fixings is a meal fit for a king. And don’t forget to swing by Be More Pacific for their Kare Kare, a Filipino stew that is full of rich, savory flavors.
Last but certainly not least, Guy tackled the Spicy Three-Pepper Firehouse Burger at Lankford Grocery. Piled high with peppers and spice, this burger is not for the faint of heart but is perfect for those who love a little heat in their meals.
Overall, this episode of Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives showcases the best of Houston’s culinary scene, proving that everything really is bigger (and tastier) in Texas. So grab your apron, get inspired, and get ready to cook up some of these mouthwatering dishes in your own kitchen. Happy cooking!
