Title: Trump Announces U.S. Oversight of Venezuela Following Military Operation
In a provocative turn of events, President Donald Trump declared that the United States will take control of Venezuela in the wake of a military operation that resulted in the seizure of President Nicolás Maduro and his wife in the capital city of Caracas. During a press conference held shortly after the raid, Trump underscored that the U.S. will oversee the South American nation until a “safe, proper, and judicious” transition is arranged.
The announcement marks a significant escalation in U.S. involvement in Venezuelan affairs, especially as Trump highlighted plans to rebuild the country’s crumbling infrastructure and oil industry. In a striking emphasis on U.S. priorities, the President assured that U.S. oil companies would play a pivotal role in revitalizing Venezuela’s once-thriving oil sector, which has been devastated by years of mismanagement and economic turmoil under Maduro’s leadership.
In a move that surprised many, Trump dismissed the possibility of collaborating with María Corina Machado, Venezuela’s exiled opposition leader, arguing that a different approach was necessary for the nation’s recovery. This decision raises questions about the future of Venezuelan politics and the role of its opposition.
Despite the military operation and subsequent announcements, the Trump administration has made it clear that a U.S. military presence will remain in Venezuela for as long as deemed necessary to ensure stability and facilitate a smooth transition of power.
As the world watches this developing story, the implications of U.S. oversight in Venezuela are yet to be fully understood. The potential for both domestic and international repercussions remains high, with critics arguing that such actions could lead to further destabilization in the region.
The unfolding situation in Venezuela illustrates not only the complexities of international politics but also the lengths to which nations may go to protect their interests in a volatile environment. As developments continue to emerge, the global community will undoubtedly keep a close eye on this unprecedented intervention by the United States.

Run Venezuela for how long? That just sounds like conquering with extra steps.
Any Venezuelan government other than Machado won't be legitimate. Machado was the one who was elected by the Venezuelan people. I seriously doubt she is on board with what Trump did, though, which is probably one of the reasons that he refuses to work with her.
Research geopolitics. This is nothing new, so if you are in the US,. consider yourself lucky to be on the winning team
Donald Trump is the epitome of American arrogance and greed !
That is effectively colonisation.
Oh, so the US is literally going to invade the country now and take over the oil industry? I guess he gave up on the peace prize?
Don't be shocked.
One day this American empire of evil will come to its end.
We want peace he says, for 2026. Invades Venezuela next day
Trump: "I am going to pump it up, pump it pump it up"
Whether People like it or not, there is a win win situation there for Trump that's why he pulled the trigger. Removing Maduro is what the majority of Venezuela wants and they get it in this bargain but Trump is not going to do that for free of course. There must be a benefit for him at the end of all that after all missiles and operations costs money.
I’m American and normally wouldn’t agree with this, but the thing is here in Florida Venezuelans immigrants are absolutely celebrating this. They are very happy about it, since I’m not from Venezuela and they are, they probably know better than me why this is a good thing.
Drill baby, drill! The great USA oil grab! USA screw international order / law / screw being the world's policeman. USA is going into the empire, resource grabbing business with its new best friend Russia.
Trump has now lost the moral authority to ask Putin to stop invading Ukraine.
Now how russia is wrong
International law is dead. Trump killed it.
German/EU silent?
time for the icc to issue a new arrest warrant and it might even be a few more
Is the EU planning on placing sanctions against the US or is it as useless as usual?
Trump can't not break the law every 8.2 minutes.
Cool! A nice Snatch & Grab.
Great practice……..
…….Now, Maduro needs Putin as a roommate.
😎🤠✌️
Did he said anything about drugs? No? But he said a lot about oil… 😉
impeach trump
“Justice. That’s what we’re all about…”
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
Good lord, how does he not get struck by lightning on the daily?
Sure,what else?
Trump is a confused president, how can a foreign country run another country without stealing it natural resources… 😅
Venezuelans must take the streets of the whole country in mass demonstrations against the imperialism and the US running their sovereign country and opposing any take over of their oil reserves
Taking over control of the Oil Supply, is one of the ways Trump is going to steal all of the resources of Venezuela. Did anyone expect any different outcome?
