In a shocking turn of events, a video has emerged showing the moment shots were fired at a movie theatre in Richmond Hill. The York Regional Police were called to the scene at around 3:15 a.m. on Saturday after reports of gunfire at the front entrance of the theatre.
The released video depicts a blue sedan pulling up outside the theatre, with a suspect firing shots from the back seat of the car. Thankfully, the theatre was closed at the time of the incident and no one was injured. However, the front glass windows and doors of the premises at York Cinemas were found to have been shot out by the officers who arrived at the scene.

The community of Richmond Hill is understandably shaken by these events, and the need for increased safety measures and vigilance is paramount. It is crucial for authorities to work swiftly to bring those responsible to justice and ensure the safety and security of the residents in the area. The video footage serves as a chilling reminder of the realities of gun violence in our society, and the importance of taking action to prevent such acts from occurring in the future.
