What We Know About Israel’s Attacks on Iran’s Nuclear Sites
In a rapidly escalating conflict, Israel has responded to Iranian aggression with a series of airstrikes targeting nuclear and military installations across Iran. According to Israeli intelligence, Tehran has launched over 100 drones in retaliation after these airstrikes, marking a significant surge in hostilities between the two nations.
The Israeli government asserts that these strikes aim to neutralize threats posed by Iran’s nuclear ambitions, which they view as a direct danger not only to Israel but to the broader Middle East. As tensions escalate, Iran’s state media reports significant damage from the attacks, including the destruction of residential areas. Tragically, these strikes have led to civilian casualties, a haunting reflection of the human cost amidst geopolitical strife.
Reports from Iran suggest that high-ranking individuals, including the head of the Revolutionary Guards and prominent nuclear scientists, have fallen victim to these assaults, further intensifying the crisis. The aftermath of the strikes has been documented through images shared by Iranian media, depicting the widespread destruction and the grim reality faced by those in affected areas.
As the situation unfolds, correspondents from DW News, Tania Krämer and Misha Komadovsky, provide on-the-ground insights and analyses, helping viewers grasp the complexities of this unfolding geopolitical drama. This episode not only highlights the immediate impact of military actions but also raises questions about the broader implications for regional stability and international relations.
With both nations locked in this dangerous exchange, the world watches closely for what may come next in this ever-evolving conflict.

I thought they already took out all of iran's missiles, why declare a state of emergency? 😂
I have no understanding of the Israeli government 😳😵💫🙄
A US proxy war. Iran has the right to defend itself.
We know that Israel committed unmotivated aggression against an independent state because of its imperial ambitions and therefore the EU must impose on it exactly the same sanctions that were imposed on Russia.
Netanyahu is shitting himself
Listen to him
How can anyone be right, when everyone is wrong?
Inshallah Israel will be safe and this will help the Iranian people to free themselves from their terror regime 🙏
Let's be honest. Does any sane person really think Iran wants enriched uranium for "civilian purposes"?
A ! Pac , N'ATO and US Hegemony empire……
60% uranium enrichment for civilian purposes? Suuuuuureeeeee. Netanyahu is a war criminal and Israel is a genocidal invader but let's not pretend Iran is innocent.
🇺🇸☕️👍 @nsa
Isreal on its own,…whatever comes of this , we need to stay out of this…
Israel is like that little brother that always getting into trouble, and always expect Big Brother AKA THE USA always Bail them out
Trump preferred Putin to zelensky.
Vengaboys are back in town! Boom boom boom boom!
Israel is 10 Times More Powerful than Trump!
I’m against countries having nuclear weapons, period.
We really need to stop more countries from getting them. Instead, let’s focus on sharing clean energy tech and building that out together.
Netanyahu keeps perpetuating this war cycle – he’d likely lose power and face his corruption trial if the war ended – and this conflict has deep religious dimensions alongside territorial and political ones, while Iran’s leaders use religion for political control. All this hate-filled rhetoric from leaders needs to stop. Most people out there are just regular families trying to live decent lives – they don’t want leaders exploiting religion to justify hatred.
If improving people’s lives is actually the goal, then abundant clean energy could do so much more for families everywhere than any weapons program ever could.
Netanyahu is the aggressor here
That nuclear reactor was promised to israel 2000 years ago
God promised them 5000 years ago that Iran could not have nuclear weapons.
