In a surprising turn of events, many Arab and Muslim Americans have thrown their support behind former President Donald Trump, believing that he holds the key to bringing peace to the Middle East. Despite the ongoing conflict in Gaza and the Biden administration’s staunch support for Israel, Trump managed to secure endorsements from prominent leaders in the Arab American community, particularly in the crucial swing-state of Michigan.
One such believer in Trump’s ability to foster peace in the Middle East is Dr. Bishara Bahbah, a Palestinian American and former associate director of a Middle East policy institute at Harvard Kennedy School. Despite being a long-time registered Democrat, Dr. Bahbah founded the group Arab Americans for Trump and campaigned alongside key figures such as Richard Grenell and Massad Boulos, a Lebanese-born businessman whose son is married to Tiffany Trump.
The decision to support Trump has sparked curiosity among many as to what these Arab and Muslim Americans expect from a Trump presidency. Dr. Bahbah and his fellow supporters believe that Trump’s tough stance on foreign policy and his willingness to challenge the status quo could potentially lead to breakthroughs in the peace process in the Middle East.
As tensions continue to simmer in the region, it remains to be seen whether Trump’s unconventional approach to diplomacy will bear fruit. With the support of a significant portion of the Arab American community, Trump’s presidency may indeed bring about unexpected changes in the pursuit of peace in the Middle East.

If Trump and Putin did cooperate with each other, they could stop this conflict.
Wait, the goal was to “get Trump elected”. WTF. The goal should be to help the Palestinian people”. Getting Trump elected was just a step towards that goal, which I personally doubt he’ll do.
Did he miss the part where Trump said Israel should finish the job? Wtf?

President Trump is a great man. He will definitely attempt to stop the war in Gaza. He is a great builder. He will set up great villas and turn Gaza into Las Vegas! I believe it, and even if he does not, his SIL is a great entrepreneur who will do that. This gentleman may be around to witness it (he looks young enough), but his ilk may not be around to see it 🙂
trump wants to whack Iran…. go figure
Opposing Harris was more important to them than supporting Palestine
Keep on dreaming!! 😂
And Trump will destroy your culture. Mr
This is the dumbest thing I have heard.
Actually Trump was the reason things went wrong quickly with the illegal settlements, also how thing escalated in the middle east, since it matters wat you say and what you purposeful ignored. Trump promised everything from left to right, but ONLY keeps what makes him profit and let happen what the right wing wants to do.
lol these fools that believe Trump is a “peacemaker” should take a good hard look at the “peace” and “unity” he has brought to his own nation.
Misogynists flocking to their orange leader
Wait under Israel has no guardrails agaisnt Gaza. You get what you vote for
Palestinians, in Gaza and Judea and Samira, just need to return home to Arabia- it is that simple.
So naive
The wave results of the election are proof positive that Biden’s strategy of sticking by Israel after the Oct 7 Hamas massacre was popular everywhere in the USA, including Michigan. All this guy has accomplished is marginalizing his hometown.
Trump said anyone that speaks out against Israel should be deported…even US citizens.
Understandably, this guy is desperate and hoping for a change of pro-Israeli US policy. But be careful what you wish for. Trump just wanted for votes, and it will be worse.
Trump is a con man. Understand, he convinced you with his talk. Watch his actions.

Its like chickens voting for KFC😂. The real reason though is they knew Trump will win and the best they could do was to be on his good side. If not for Palestine for themselves.
Don't diss the gamble of the desperate. Plus if Trump actually pulls this off, then he solidifies a solid voter demographic in a swing state, so the incentive to do well on this is there, despite immflamatory rhetoric.
As soon as someone says there is a genocide in Gaza they lose all credibility. They literally don’t know the different between urban warfare and genocide and thus should not speak on the topic at all
Omg, how naive. Trump is a narcissist who says yes to everyone in the room with him. He backs the position of whomever gives him the most loyalty and money. It's not really even about money for him, it's about feeling "liked". Trump doesn't care about anyone or anything except gaining sycophants to abuse for his emotional supply. How devastating for Palestinians that this man was conned by Trump who then proceeded to work on his behalf. 😭
There is no other way if he believes that if Trump can not do what is expected from him then there is no way except to fight to the end and thy have proved despite the Biden fighting against them more than a year all the myth of invincibility has gone into oblivion.
