I remember what was unprecedented was that all the news networks agreed to share footage with each other. Usually they always want to have exclusive footage of news events so people will tune in to their station, but this was different.

I remember that day, there weren't any whites, blacks, gays, straights, etc. We were all just Americans. And you saw random people from all backgrounds talking about it out on the street.

3:30 I’ve learned one thing in my almost 50 years of life. I’m not listening to the orders from some 911 dispatcher who is in some little cubicle somewhere . Who has no idea what I’m dealing with in a emergency. I’m going with my guy instincts , common sense and lived experience. Then making what moves I feel I need to . If something doesn’t work out it’s on me . If something does work out it’s on me and up to God . Not a dispatcher

It is impossible for anyone to gain access to the cockpit of a commercial airplane ✈️ unless the captain 🧑‍✈️ allows you in! Do you actually believe that the captain 🧑‍✈️ of either of these airplanes ✈️ would actually look at the video of these people attempting to gain entry to the cockpit of their airplanes ✈️ would actually unlock the door to the cockpit?! This comment isnt a criticism OF THIS DOCUMENTARY, but instead just an observation to keep in mind for those watching this who didnt live thru it:

A consequence of having to interlace so much footage & editing it to be viewed consecutively instead of concurrently as it was actually recorded,
is that you as the viewer of this piece don’t get to experience for yourself the TRUE sense of time & the true impact that that short amount of time between the 2 planes hitting actually & realistically had on the level of shock, fear, instant uncertainty, & helplessness on the entire population

Remember, in reality it was only 16-17 minutes between the two planes hitting the towers, & they flew by,
Unlike you the viewer watching this doc and processing the events over the span of hours, nobody had had time to fully process what was happening by the time the 2nd plane hit

One thing I observed is how calm everyone was during that time, you can tell they were terrified but everyone calm and able to articulate themselves without yelling and cursing….

I have a mountain thing of it 9/11 was a plane crash during 2001 before me and my sis and lil sis and bro were born the plane number was 911 and the date was 9/11 the plane got hayjacked and was heading for the twin towers in New York the pilot thought about bracing everyone like that would help(I think) but it would be bad and break back and kill everyone badly the plane crashed in the 2nd tower many people’s loved ones died including baby’s newborns and toddlers so as kids and unc’s died many firemen went in the 2nd building and saved many kids who survived and got broken bones broke their skull lost arms legs and some died from being flung the the air and then got stabbed by the pointy thing at the top many got saved by helicopter’s but many died by losing their heads and the whole emergency team was there the 2nd tower eventually collapsed because the plane exploded and everyone was evacuated away from the building and many families recorded and lost children dads mom’s uncle’s and aunties some got a world record and some died with pain everyone got scars some kids broke bones worse many lost 2 and 1 eye ball many kids died too the hayjakers were arrested and 2 of them d*** many lost their best friends may everyone on there rest in peace

“That’s untrue. I sent a letter to the Chairman of the 9/11 Commission, Thomas Keane. He chose, I guess, to omit it from the final report,” Evans said.

After a pause, Rear Adm. Crandall asked whether the defense wished to cross-examine the witness.

“I have only two questions for you, Mr. Evans. First, did Rear Adm. Crandall, JAG, or the OMC make you any promises in return for your testimony today?” Aufhauser said.

With the exception of people who lost family and friends in the attacks we are over it. It will cause sorrow and rage for the rest of our days however we've returned to our normal routines and look back occasionally.
