Great video. Very fun
Great video! Would love to watch one of you rating some of the best bbq steakhouses in NY. We’re going in October and can’t decide which one to pick lol
Thanks for this, always intruiged by the strange things out there. And Beetle House is only a 20 minute walk from the hotel I'm going to be staying in. Very tempted to check it out. Another great vid. Also a shout out to ActionKid for his frog based dad joke. Can't go wrong with a dad joke lol
I mean, obviously you would only go to the Tim Burton restaurant if you were into the theme and liked Tim Burton. Those hardly seem like negatives
Jon I've been watching your videos for a while (and actually moved to NYC from Texas in that time frame) and I just want to say that your commentary and ideas have gotten even funnier and more entertaining over the years. Really appreciate your growth as a content creator!!!
excellent video
The japanese bar actually looks like a lot of fun! and $8 Pitcher? YES PLEASE!!
I had Burp Castle in my mind after the Japanese restaurant with the cheap beer, and then it came up!
They tried to open the Beetle juice Halloween place in DC, but it flopped and closed after a few months!
In Chicago, a Mother-in-Law is a tamale on a hot dog bun with chili on top. Never on the menu but served everywhere.
John says “wasabi” like a person with a stuffy nose and head cold.
Nice to see you get weird! As an introvert who likes Belgian beer, I love Burp Castle
what about Jeckyll and Hyde or the Slaughtered Lamb?
Im 👍🏽 #500 🙌

This was such a unique and creative video – thanks for taking us along! I have lived in NY all my life and had not heard of any of these places (other than the potion making place).
It’s LYDIA DEETZ
I'll definitely do Kenka and the Trailer park.
Not exactly themed or a restaurant but you didnt go to double down saloon to watch the films? lol….. I live extremely close to beetle house. havent heard of kenka but also i avoid that block of st marks like the plague now lol. when i saw a girl with half her head shaved and a spiked leather jacket stepping out of the back of her parents G-wagon about 9 years ago, i knew it was over.
The video was awesome thanks for sharing
Great video and wow can't wait to go to NYC again someday
Is there any real pizza huts left in the area?
Cool
Just some days before christmas we've been to a themed restaurant in the suburb of Naples, Italy it was dedicated to Tim Burton, so it was all about his most famous movies : beetlejouce mainly. But we didn't have to have a full menu, so we spent way less than you. I must say it was excellently themed, even outside and you were greeted by strange characters and have a tour in a special room, where you could access through the "rabbit hole" a small door by crawling through it
Wait that tim Burton one is actually so cool 😂😂
Jon and Ken together again!! Favorites❤
NYC needs more themed restaurants, bars and cafes. It’s one of the things I miss most about Tokyo!
