Eighty people on-board Delta Air Lines Flight 4819 had a terrifying experience as the plane crashed at Toronto’s Pearson International Airport on Monday. The situation quickly turned chaotic as the plane flipped over and burst into flames, prompting the passengers and crew to quickly evacuate the aircraft. Thankfully, all 76 passengers and four crew members managed to escape and survive the ordeal.
Aviation expert Robert Kokonis analyzed video footage of the crash, describing it as a “hard landing.” He questioned what caused the rough landing, speculating whether the rate of descent or vertical speed played a role in the incident. The intense scene was captured on video, showing thick black smoke billowing from the burning plane as firefighters worked to extinguish the flames with foam.
The aftermath of the crash left many questioning what led to the terrifying incident and how it could have been prevented. As investigations continue into the cause of the crash, the survivors of Flight 4819 can count themselves lucky to have made it out safely. The harrowing experience serves as a reminder of the risks involved in air travel and the importance of safety protocols in the aviation industry.

Great expert.
That was a great analogy…Hard landing?! A teenager playing Flight Simulator could have done better.
Don't know about anyone else, but the landings on the last 5 flights I have been on made me feel like my hipbone was trying to shorten my spine. I'm not sure what happened to smooth landings, but I haven't had any for a while. Perhaps they went away just after pilots started to stop a plane at the first exit ramp, hitting the brakes hard enough to make your tongue stick out, just to save that extra little bit of fuel.
Its incredible how many people survived.
Well it for sure wasn't a soft landing lmao I didn't know it took an expert to come to that conclusion
"Planes not supposed to be upside down", aviation expert says
"It was a hard landing." I'm glad the aviation expert told me otherwise I would have never known
Hard Landing? My back and neck hurts from Watching that landing !
Hard landing, way too fast a drop and hit the ground HARD. Yet NBC News says the crash was caused by Donald Trump! NBC News should be removed from US broadcasting. That comment was atrocious! Shame on NBC, the most anti American media network.
It took an ExPeRt to find that out?
Amazing how many nitwits there are in here with mocking comments that didn't think to check that "hard landing" is actually a term with a meaning in aviation
There are rumours circulating (which are often true) that this yet another tragic consequence of a diversity hire. This must at least be investigated…..but by whom?
Why not block comments here as well, like all your other videos…
I’ve seen harder.
seat belts are the real heroes in all of this
How come their are so many plane accidents this year' what's going on.
Ya don't say.
What does it mean hard landing ? Is it the fault of the Captain ? Absolutely. The Captain should admit the truth. Speed of the plane to land was too high. The Captain just made a mistake, he was not careful enough. He is a human, sometime humen makes serious mistake and brings suffering to others. Damage is done, now pay the consequences.
Hard landing looks like pilot inexperience.
Unfortunately it looks like the pilot was at fault. Hard landing and tilt over with wing break off (intentional design feature to avoid fuselage failure). Oopsie!! Thank God for no fatalities.
The experts insist the runway was dry. Why do they say this when there is enough snow and ice that it completely covers the runway? There are no markings or lines visible to the pilot and this may be a factor in the pilot coming in too hard, misjudging the actual height of the plane.
