1,000 practical tasks?
But cooking Spaghetti Bolognese isn't one of them.
Cooking the sauce and the pasta in the same pan?
Musk is aiming at a humanoid that can be manufactured in mass at a targeted cost. It's not just building a humanoid robot. Many have done that. Yet to see if he succeeds.
I’m surprised neither company has much, if any, flexibility and strength built into the palms.
can't wait to see just how far the hand technology goes, combined with neural link would be insane
In French please 🙏🏼
Can it wipe an old persons arse?
Arise
We are close to end times! Robots wanna take over !!! Lord Jesus Christ is coming soon🙏🏼❤️🕊Repent, believe in the Gospel, Be Born Again
AND with Quantum AI capabilities each robot could be an EMT Unit to the Ability of Supply 😊
Love never Fails 💖
This is so exciting!
How does it compare with Chinese Wuji’s hand….
So who is going to pay taxes and give taxes to society if no one has work?
Optimistic, indeed. My Aibo hiked his leg on the predecessors, but now indicates he'd accept this issue as long as he can reliably toss a ball.
I am not regact technology to solved heman perobelom but I am to qusen what you belve I want know please by for ever
I want to know

*Scan 141 — ta lecture du motif originel ?*
😊
I'll be happy when these can sort my 1,000,000 Lego collection
Nonsense, it's not even close , too big and too many big parts, Optimus as usual is behind.
Factory training makes a lot more sense than trying to teach robots everything in a lab.
I think robotic hands will determine which humanoid robots actually become useful.
The tactile sensor technology was probably the most interesting part of the video.
It's amazing how much engineering goes into something as simple as picking up an object.
The comparison with 1X was fair and gave good context.
Hand maniable verry util for robotique
Fantastic the human hand is an awesome design.. Human knee design sucks… that design needs an up grade.
Amazing 😮
Tesla bots can’t get here fast enough
probably the best tech on hand jobs ROFL
still those robotic big ass fingers wont be able to replace the mother boards of a GPU server in the data center ROFL
all need a bot like this that would just clean my house and cook meals for me as my wife replacement
Reminds me of terminator hand….
Yes I think the AI5 will be the answer. It’s a reaction time at the same time using the small language model as opposed to the large language model. Ultimately if this humanoid Optimus three needs to be connected to AI then tokens will be the next challenge.
It's over, isn't it?
Irobot coming to fruition 😂
I need a robot that can do house chores ASAP.
Cvt like car
I was very skeptical of the usefulness of any of these humanoid robots until we reached a high level of AGI (which still seems pretty far off). But after seeing how with Grok Build, a user can just dictate a task, and Grok will continuously work on that task until it's complete – I'm becoming much less skeptical about Optimus. Given that we haven't seen the current Gen 3's yet, I'm expecting something surprising.
Can it do a motor swap that's the important thing or do I have to yell at it to hold a flashlight and hand me a 10mm that most likely won't be there
Fantastic engineering. I believe technology is at its best when it helps people solve real problems while keeping humans at the center. Humanoid robots have the potential to improve workplaces, healthcare, logistics, and everyday life. I'm excited to follow this industry as it grows and hope to contribute to it professionally in the future.
LOL… Humanity isn't going to be around much longer.
One step closer to skynet!
yeah, i don't think ai will replace humans, we'll always need a human component to their help.
A neat Trick for Optimism would showing it driving a nail. A simple but accurate accurate task
Hey Musk! You can make a lot of money now by turning your Optimus robot into a military machine that will fight the Russians. This would help Ukraine and they would not lose any infantry to Russian forces. This would be immediate and could potentially speed the end of Russian resolve to fight. This would be more profitable than the domestic market where you have planned Optimus to be a butler, cook, housekeeper, or gardener. Talk to President Zelenskyy and see what happens.
