Buildings collapse while people were still inside
Al Jazeera correspondent, Hani Mahmoud, reports live from Deir el-Balah in the Gaza Strip, providing chilling details of the devastation caused by Israeli airstrikes in the Beit Lahia Project area. Mahmoud shares that more than 70 individuals have tragically lost their lives in the western part of the northern Gaza Strip as a result of the intense bombardment.
According to Mahmoud, residents were forced to flee to the Beit Lahia Project area due to the severity of the airstrikes in other parts of Gaza, particularly in Jabaliya. The scale and intensity of the attacks have left buildings destroyed and people trapped inside, leading to a heartbreaking loss of life.
The ongoing conflict between Israel and Palestine has once again brought violence and destruction to the region, with civilians bearing the brunt of the conflict. The airstrikes have targeted residential areas, causing widespread devastation and loss of life.
