Arrival of Emergency Response Team at Azerbaijan Airlines jet crash site

An Azerbaijani passenger airplane crashed in Kazakhstan on Wednesday, resulting in a tragic outcome of at least 38 deaths out of the 67 individuals on board. The flight, J2-8243, departed from Baku, Azerbaijan, with intentions to land in Grozny, Russia, but tragically went hundreds of miles off course near the city of Aktau in Kazakhstan.

The Embraer 190 passenger jet was reported to be carrying 62 passengers and five crew members. In the aftermath of the crash, survivors, including two children, were rescued and taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
