Most mysterious better than most controversial … That's the difference between you and other YouTubers for whom Xianjang, directly or indirectly, is a region where Muslims are burned alive and eaten ( this is what exactly someone told me,i guess someone who may have never been on YT).
The Central Asia culture is very strong there
November 2025 Report on the Tuidang Movement: The Wave of Chinese People Renouncing the CCP Intensifies, Regime Suppression Escalates, and Global Forces of Conscience Form Simultaneously
In November 2025, a growing phenomenon emerged in Chinese society: a large-scale, sustained "moral separation" of individuals from the CCP regime.
According to statistics from the Global Service Center for Quitting the CCP, the number of people who publicly declared their "Three Withdrawals" (renouncing the CCP, the Communist Youth League, and the Young Pioneers) on the Tuidang website reached 1,300,186 in November, an increase of 129,624 compared to October.
From January to November 2025, the cumulative number of people who have withdrawn from the CCP and its affiliated organizations reached 14,173,650; as of the end of November, the cumulative number of people who have withdrawn globally reached 455,092,148.
These figures come from the Tuidang website of the Global Service Center for Quitting the CCP. The number of people withdrawing from the CCP shows a stable, continuous, and year-on-year upward trend. This reflects not a short-term protest or isolated incident, but a long-term shift in social psychology and moral choices.

Xinjiang's inner cities looks gorgeous. And something right between a cookie and bread is precisely what I would want for an edible coffee cup. Cheers from Straya.

People there look really beautiful
Looks like a mix of China and Central Asia

Doug I hope you speak about the vocational camps Uyghurs are being forced to hard labor & go to ‘adapt to Chinese culture’ which basically means indoctrination by force. You can see on the Uyghurs faces nobody is allowed to speak about it in China without beating arrested. If you can’t do that Doug then at least try not to promote Xinjiang. Thanks.
believe it not,China is so massive ,even Chinese people rarely get chance to travel around every city
