57:48 The communist party did many evil things.
But there was always one extraordinary living soul showing history how greatness leaves many of us so inspire.
Mr. JOHN is a Buddha alive 🙏. I cried when I was watching 60 Minutes. Thanks for showing this film.
Shout out to the hero papa John & the thousands bravery Americans.❤❤❤❤❤You're one of the many unselfish Americans who assisted the exodus of the Vietnamese refugees. We're proud of you. Your heroic actions will never be forgotten.
You created the new amazing chapter of the Vietnamese American journey – their escape from the communists. 🎉😊❤
Don’t forget to applaud the back action after the people got to the US.

Mr. Winton, 🙏🙏🙏
Thank you Papa John and 60 mins for sharing this wonderful story…. The Vietnamese version of Schindler’s list..❤
The last days of Saigon were nothing but chaos so I can believe how he was able to get the papers for his “children” stamped and approved. I left the day before it fell.
The Vietnamese are kind, loyal, hardworking people. John experienced that in Saigon and see his Vietnamese coworkers as family. He has a good heart.
❤❤❤❤❤❤
What a great American hero!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️
Dear John, you are a true hero, THANK YOU!!! This story should be brought to Hollywood to make a movie.

Tell the story of the Hmong people who help the US. #secretwar
Watching this documentary, and realizing Trump swear in Oval Office for second time tomorrow is sad. May god has mercy on Americans.
Great man
❤🙏🙏
Thank you so much for the amazing story. I myself is one of the boat people. And I'm very great full for my American sponsors. Yes, my whole families call our sponsors FATHER AND MOTHER. This story brought me tears.
This is one of my favourite compilations. With all the hate, violence, and wars in the world right now this keeps that light of hope that the world still has good people in it and perhaps inspire more people to do the same for others.
The story is wonderful. Lesley Stahl is clearly a good man and the Vietnamese bank workers have been very lucky. On the other hand from a legal prospective, Lesley Stahl has clearly lied to the US Government and committed a crime! This should not be encouraged. In addition, the World has too many problems and can Uncle Sam let in everybody in this World? Immigration is a big issue in the West now. It is also an irony that US is now friend of Vietnam again!
What a human being, unfortunately the ones who got abused are now the abusers
Make a movie… come on!
This video deeply moved me. It resonates on a personal level as it reflects the experiences of my parents and grandparents, who lived through that era. I have heard their stories of courage, loss, and hope as they sought freedom in the 1970s and early 1980s. They have shared with me how profoundly heartbreaking the fall of Saigon was, and this video brings those memories to life.
Thanks you sir you are true hero and savior to our Vietnamese people !!!!! You make this world a better place !!!!!
THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! and THANK YOU! I was working for the FPJMT.
