What’s the best way to catch someone’s attention? In his talk, Jeff Jones explores the power of storytelling and how each tale can be utilized to bring comfort to a conversation. Simultaneously proving his point by telling his own engaging and heartwarming anecdotes, Jones discusses the importance of telling stories in order to spread humanity and cultivate love within day-to-day environments.
Jeff Jones is the current President of the Rivertown Storytellers and the former President of the Kentucky Storyteller Association. He continues his endeavor of spreading stories and their importance through research and talks, such as presenting at The Hoggs Falls Storytelling conference at the Owensboro Museum of Science and History. Jeff Jones has nearly 30 years experience as a teacher, administrator and storyteller. His goal in life is to share knowledge, empathy and support to help others. He does this with humor, affection and stories. Jeff is a proud native Hoosier and USI grad who resides in Sorgho,Kentucky.
