Tayo Odunsi is a seasoned business strategist and operator with nearly two decades of experience across African real estate, finance, investment, and technology markets. Passionate about urban development, affordable housing, and African art, he is the author of the book Affordable: Thinking Differently and Critically About Affordable Housing.

He is the founder of [Build Africa], a technology-driven platform helping local and diasporan property builders procure building materials affordably and transparently across multiple states in Nigeria. In 2025, the company’s AI tool received the AI Supernova Award at GITEX Nigeria 2025.

Tayo also founded [Northcourt Real Estate] in 2013, growing it into a multi-award-winning investment advisory firm operating across West Africa. Over the years, he has advised institutions including the IMF, Actis, Sterling Bank, ARM, and Urban Shelter. He holds degrees from University of Lagos, Henley Business School, and Imperial College London.
