Full Tesla Cybercab Robotaxi New Update Is Here
The Tesla Cybercab Robotaxi is on the brink of transformation as Tesla intensifies its real-world testing and passenger services. In our latest video, we dive deep into the latest Cybercab update, showcasing its groundbreaking features such as the 48 kWh battery, an impressive 293-mile range, and an efficiency of 165 Wh/mile. Our analysis reveals how Tesla’s lightweight design and innovative steer-by-wire and brake-by-wire systems are setting new standards in the EV industry.
But the excitement doesn’t stop there! We explore Tesla’s revolutionary Unboxed manufacturing process, which aims to lower operating costs, expedite production, and enhance daily utilization. By simplifying the build—such as eliminating the paint shop and constructing vehicle sections in parallel—Tesla is redefining the economic landscape of autonomous transportation.
We also address the regulatory landscape, including the NHTSA investigation and the challenges of introducing a vehicle devoid of traditional controls like a steering wheel or pedals. As we discuss Tesla’s current robotaxi limitations and the potential for international Cybercab expansion, we provide insights into the future of autonomous ride-hailing and what it means for investors and tech enthusiasts alike.
Join us as we uncover how the Tesla Cybercab could pave the way toward fully autonomous transportation. Whether you’re a Tesla fan, an EV enthusiast, or simply curious about the future of self-driving technology, this video is a must-watch!

The 293-mile range from a 48 kWh battery is probably the most interesting number here. I’m curious how close that efficiency is in real-world robotaxi use with AC running all day.
The highway limitation seems like a much bigger issue than people are talking about. A 5-mile trip taking an hour because the robotaxi can’t use the highway could seriously affect the economics.
I’m not sure eliminating the paint shop is as simple as it sounds. Integrated-color panels could reduce manufacturing costs, but how expensive would repairs be if one panel gets badly damaged?
I think the biggest test isn't whether Cybercab can drive without a driver. It's whether it can make money consistently for 10–12 hours a day. Do you think Tesla can actually achieve that level of utilization?
The $20 trip example is interesting, but the real calculation should include empty miles, charging time, cleaning, insurance, maintenance, and depreciation. Has Tesla published a complete cost-per-mile breakdown?
The fact that Tesla is already putting Cybercab on public roads with paying passengers makes this feel very different from another autonomous driving demo. But 45 vehicles is still a tiny fleet. What happens when the fleet gets to 1,000?
The Unboxed manufacturing process is fascinating, but I’m still skeptical about the 5-second production target. Is that an actual full-vehicle cycle time or just a specific manufacturing operation?
I actually think the simple design makes sense for a robotaxi. If passengers don’t need a steering wheel, pedals, or a lot of traditional controls, why carry all that extra hardware?
I understand why Tesla removed the steering wheel and pedals, but the NHTSA investigation makes this much more complicated. How do you think regulators will handle vehicles that were never designed for a human driver?
The idea of selling Cybercabs to outside owners is interesting. If the robotaxi can really generate significant annual revenue, why would Tesla want to sell the cars instead of keeping them for its own fleet?
Bring it!
I drove Toyota Camrys for decades. Was very happy. I remember talking with my mechanic as one of my Camrys was approaching 200,000 miles. He said the major systems on the car would good for another 200,000 miles. Was very happy that I could expect to get 400,000 miles out of my car.
Important information is that Tesla is setting the life expectancy of a CyberCab at a MINIMUM of 500,000 miles. Looking at charts that represent potential outcomes managers learn to see a chart that represents the WORST outcome, a chart that represents the BEST outcome, and a chart or charts that represent the most expected outcome.
Now look at Tesla's charts on CyberCabs have expected miles of: 500k miles, 1m miles, 1.5m miles. *Doing this from memory. There might have also been a chart for 750k miles.
Given the 500, 1m, 1.5m charts and 25+ years as a manager and executive, Tesla is expecting the CyberCab to last 1 million miles on average. With the recognition that a 'blue printed' vehicle could achieve 1.5 million miles. ***A mechanic used the term 'blue printed' in describing what a designer is hopefully for if the finished item is a perfect match to the blue print of the item. This was brought up when discussing a 1991 Camry I owned. The car needed about $1k of repairs. With 175,000 miles on the car, it was averaging 31 miles per gallon using regular 89 octane gas. Manufactures specifications stated that gas mileage for a new Camry would be 26 mpg. This is the context of the term 'blue print'.
The point: ignoring ALL other savings: focus on purchase cost: $33,000 cost and you get 300,000 miles of use, means your purchase price amortized over the total miles would be: $0.11 per mile. Compared to $33,000 cost and you get ONLY 500,000 miles the price would be: $0.066 per mile Now at the 1 million miles that works out to $0.033 per mile. Car A will cost me 11 cents a mile versus Car B will cost me 3.3 cents per mile. It is a no brainer. I choose Car B: The Tesla CyberCab.
Yes paint shops are expensive and environmentally toxic 🌎. Cyber is an engineering marvel in efficient, clean, safe everyday transportation for everyone 😂
Качество-это не когда нечего добавить, а когда ничего нельзя убрать)
A golden-chariot Tesla splashes across the Friday thumbnail; a Cybercab powers across the sparkling dune.
This is hype in the internet
why not use cybercab to deliver food to people maybe even parcels or food shopping . and get it to drive to people homes the people use app to open and collect there item.
why do passengers have to press a button to open doors-they have the app-its based upon NFC chip-should the door open automatically.
The interesting update is the operating loop, not another promise of autonomy: how quickly these cars can be dispatched, cleaned and back in service. That utilisation number will matter more than the launch-day demo.
How does this influence the price for normal Model Y?
I want one!
Can't wait
Steering system on a Cybercab? 4:22
Я испытываю инженерный экстаз когда смотрю обзор этой машины)
I'm surprised they went with only two seats. This will not be an option for many families with young children, but I'm sure they will have other models in the future.
I am more worried that customers will abuse the cars. Eating inside and leaving it a mess. Spraying graffiti. Taking drugs and weeds. Peeing or fouling. Having sex. Bringing weapons and mass shooting. Hacking or damaging the computer. Spreading virus or rodents. That’s just some of the things I think of.
Everyone should be buying as many long dated Tesla calls out to 2028 expiration (two full years)! Every pullback is an opportunity from now on. Take advantage of it!

早く日本でも走ってくれー
道路はあるけど車が足りないんだー
4:22 ….the steering system…….This image shows a steering wheel, but there is NONE in the CyberCab
This car won't survive in African hijackings. FACTS
The Saturn was the first commercial automobile with plastic body panels. This was roughly the same technology 40 years ago so the Cyber cab body is that that revolutionary.
Quick, wind that window up!
They should write new regulations on robo taxis design and standards
You lied about Tesla's FSD capability.
I have a new CyberBeast and it does everything and anything better than a human.
