A violent Tren de Aragua ringleader sought in an infamous break-in in Aurora, Colorado has been captured in a dramatic pre-dawn raid in New York City, just across from an elementary school. Anderson Zambrano-Pacheco, 25, was apprehended by heavily armed Homeland Security Investigations officers who stormed an apartment building in The Bronx.
Zambrano-Pacheco was taken into custody as part of the Trump administration’s first promised immigration raids in New York City. The raid took place in the early hours of the morning, across the street from PS 11, also known as the Highbridge School.
The Tren de Aragua gang, known for its violent activities in Venezuela, has been a target of law enforcement agencies due to its involvement in kidnappings and other criminal activities. Zambrano-Pacheco was wanted in connection with a high-profile break-in in Aurora, Colorado, which was caught on camera.
