Dude. You know when you get a US passport you can extra pages for the same price. Also, Uber has surge Pricing has nothing to do with nighttime, has to do more with it if it's busy, then they charge more money. Also, urber knows that you're at an airport and charges more money.
Love hearing your stories. Glad everything worked out. Oh, nothing worse than loosing a filling and then find out you have to have 2 crowns. Good luck with the other dental appointments, you are a brave man! In the meantime, maybe some more hiking in beautiful Northern California. ✌️
I've traveled all over and never had a problem getting in and out of any country on a US passport
I like Singapore. Don't know if you've ever been there. Kl would be interesting in malaysia. I've been to australia four times which I really enjoyed new zealand two times which is nice as well. I don't know how you afford doing all these trips, but more power to you. My sister lives up near carson city, I know you've been there. Enjoy your rest.
Crowns with no insurance are really expensive in the US. Maybe you should've gone down to Mexico and did it there. Like a third the price.
Good story Gabe. Would you do a tour by car of the Canadian Maritime provinces? You can also then take the car on a ferry to Newfoundland. I'd love to see it! As well as far Northern Ontario/Quebec if you would be able to do that, it would be very cool.
I'm thinking of visiting Moldova again too, only stayed a few days in Chisinau in 2019. I want to check out their second biggest city Balti. And maybe down to Comrat and Cahul in the south.
@Gabriel Traveler – Hey Gabriel! It’s amazing and you’re blessed to also have a Canadian passport. 😊
It would be epic if you finally explore the great country of Cuba 🇨🇺! Is that possible, sometime this year? 🤔😎
Enjoy time with the family and friends.
I stopped fellowing you since you went back to Greece!!!
194 countries, keep going to Greece….😢😂😅😮
You always ask for the price before,
why did not go to the dendist while in Greece, very cheap.
Welcome back to NorCal Gabriel! Nice cool summer so far! Enjoy our lovely weather! ☀️☀️☀️
You got my vote
I know alot of people want to dump on Trump, but stuff happens occasinally crossing borders. So here's a story, I was living in HI (Oahu) and traveled to and spent a few days in Vancouver BC then used Greyhound to travel to Seattle before going back to HI. The border agent at the Blane, WA crossing was all over me on why I was traveling this route, even questioned if I was truly an American but was able to continue on….this was in 1999.
I can just imagine that border patrol agent asking Gabe what he was doing in Canada. "Well, do you want the short story or the long story?" An hour later, Gabe finishes his story and looks up to find the guy hanging from a noose.
I can Refer you to a Dentist in Ukraine….and you could save Thousands on Dental Work LOL…..a Dentist in So Cal told me I needed 10K-15K in dental work and I got Everything in Ukraine for $120 and No Appointment Needed….Just walk in….Example Any fillings needed, are – no appt needed and $15-$20 USD(including X-rays, numbing and everything included…Crowns are about $120 ish including everything involved Ect.. (for 1 tooth)
Hi Gabriel, Keep in mind that Amsterdam is just a city and has nothing to do with the 'real' Netherlands 😉
Gabriel for president🎉😂
Welcome back to USA, Gabriel.
Too late now, but I recommend a super dental facility (state of the art) in Playa del Carmen if you're getting multiple crowns. They even put you up at a nice hotel and provide transportation, including picking you up at the airport. Fluent in English. Also great dental services in Romania, Colombia and Portugal, as we know how expensive crowns, root canals, implants, etc are in USA, and the Playa del Carmen facility is about 2/5 the cost of dental work in USA. and this includes lodging and transportation. Like you, I trek all over the world, but I def live on a budget 😸😸
BTW — same thing happened to me about 8 months ago — eating grilled fish and one of my teeth hit a bone and a filling broke. No pain, but just the hole.
What an adventure, Gabriel! I’m honestly amazed how you remember all those details and tell the story so well. That hike, by the way, totally reminds me of spots in mainland Greece 🙂
Have you been to the North of England….great history and trails/hikes to do….Lake District, North Yorkshire Moors, Loch Ness etc. Also, Wales is amazing for castles!!!? Which I know you love to visit x
👍👍👍
Gabriel have you ever went to south america ?
Great travel story, you might want to consider getting a nexus card if you don’t already have one.
I enjoy your home area videos in USA.
And I’m in Europe.
That made me giggle at the end..your idea of going home for a rest includes a possible trip to Japan! Legend you are Gabriel.❤
So you are in Mendocino county now, you are close to the lost coast a few hours north of you.
I discovered this are a year ago planing an RV trip along the west coast but the streets are to narrow and steep for an RV.
Peter Santenello released a video about that area 8 month ago and i was very intrigued about the landscape, but Peters talks a lot to the people and don´t shows the beauty, so maybe you can go there for the views and nature?
Peter started in Ferndale and you can begin in Redway with a Redwood Forest?
AS IF YOUR CHANNEL VIEWERS ARE INTERESTED IN THIEVING A 25 YEAR OLD CAR? WHAT ARE U SAYING…LOL
Wait just a minute, you didn't even bother to check what the Uber rate to your hotel would be? Seriously?! 🤦 Man, after so many years of traveling. It amazes me that you didn't even ask about the price and just headed to walk to his car. 🤦 I guess you must be minting money on YouTube to be so careless. You make out to sound like booking a Uber in the middle of the night is a such a pain. Fully knowing people are arriving in a Uber to the airport. So of course cars are floating around to head towards the city. So the lame reasoning, that you could not be bothered is just lame. I do realize it's your money but don't justify it with lame reasoning.
Hi,
Long time viewer here. Love the story telling.
I'm trotting the world indefinitely, just like you minus the YouTube thing.
I have a big tip on dentist problems. Hungary! Crowns or bridges, 5 days from the beginning to the end….and way cheaper than my or your country.
I like your videos you are the best❤
Gabriel, now, you are going to see how much freer you are abroad!
