A real comment not made by a bot.
I did some work for a former air traffic controller years ago. One of the most interesting people I've ever met. Quirky, precise, very particular. I'm sure what I imagine that job to be is not a tenth of what it's actually like
Not killing people through incompetence is not the same as a doctor saving people
amazing. thank you.
Respect.
I think it was more New Jersey that caused him stress than the airport gig, but hey, what do I know 😆
SNL’s Mikey Day was not funny in this skit.
For those wondering… this is the full version of the small 7 minute excerpt WSJ uploaded last week….
Thanks to WSJ….(most of you anyways.)

As someone who works in the Aerospace industry, I’ve got nothing but mad respect to this guy and all ATC’s throughout the US.
Thanks for providing the insights as a Air-traffic controller. Thanks for keeping the airspace safe.
I've been wondering about their job positions. My son is obsessed with planes and I told him this would be the job for him.
It's a problem that we need the "best of the best" to run our system. It's a sign of how poorly designed our system is. Counting on this guy or anyone else to be "be a tockstar" every day is a setup for disaster. There's going to be a day when these people have an off day. When have to have a system that allows controls to be human.
cool video but did something go wrong with the export settings? compression seems high
