At least 17 people, including a child, were injured on Monday afternoon when a Delta Air Lines flight arriving from the United States crashed at Toronto Pearson International Airport. Emergency services, including Ornge air ambulance, responded to calls about the crash around 2 p.m. The airport confirmed that the incident involved a Bombardier CRJ900 aircraft belonging to Delta. Social media videos and photos showed the plane overturned on the airport grounds, prompting a swift response from authorities. Ornge dispatched multiple ambulances to the scene to tend to the injured passengers. The good news is that despite the chaos and destruction, there were no fatalities reported in the aftermath of the crash.
