In the mood for some comforting Italian cuisine but don’t have the time or energy to make a full-blown lasagna? Then Ree Drummond’s Pesto Chicken Lasagna Skillet is the perfect recipe for you! This dish has all the delicious flavors of traditional lasagna but is much quicker and easier to make.
To start, you’ll need some lasagna noodles, olive oil, butter, yellow onion, garlic, store-bought pesto, white wine, heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, rotisserie chicken, marinated artichokes, kale, mozzarella cheese, ricotta cheese, Roma tomato, and fresh basil. Once you have all your ingredients together, you’re ready to get cooking!
First, you’ll cook the lasagna noodles until they’re al dente and set them aside. In a large ovenproof skillet, sauté the onion and garlic in olive oil and butter until softened. Then, add in the pesto, white wine, cream, and Parmesan cheese, and let the mixture simmer. Next, stir in the chicken, artichokes, kale, and the cooked noodles. Top everything off with mozzarella cheese and broil until bubbly and golden brown.
To finish off this delectable dish, spoon over some creamy ricotta and dollop on the remaining pesto. Sprinkle with diced tomatoes and torn basil leaves for a pop of freshness before serving.
With its creamy sauce, flavorful pesto, and hearty chicken and vegetable filling, this Pesto Chicken Lasagna Skillet is sure to become a favorite in your household. It’s easy to make, comforting to eat, and perfect for a cozy night in. Give this recipe a try and enjoy all the deliciousness of lasagna without all the fuss!

EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW nah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I really don't understand why Ree would dollop the ricotta into the pesto-lasagne pan and then cover with mozzarella and other things? I think I would make this with rotini instead of lasagne noodles.
Looks so delish
Mmmmmm!

I am a blind cook, and I really love Food Network but I really wish you would put audio description in your videos. It would be very helpful for blind cooks. I see you have it for deaf people but nothing for blind people. This sounds like a very good recipe, but certain descriptions were left out of it.
