Even the Camels are walkin a mile on the Canaries…who knew
I did visit Lanzarote in 1997, Puerto del Carmen. Was mainly drinking and partying so I don't remember that much about it.
EL Hierro is great for nature and hikes also La Gomera… you saving the best for last😂
👍
We used to call it Costa take it easy
rockin it!!🧭✌️
Just a heads up Gabriel, Spar is the most expensive supermarket group in the Canaries, , best local one is Mercadona great range, followed by Hyper Dino , best of all is Aldi and Lidl for value for money.
You have to visit Morro Jable beach it's beautiful place on the southern part of Fuertaventura.
Gabriel traveller La Palma is awesome we stayed at the Hotel H10 Taburiente before Christmas last year. It's an amazing place and the 4×4 volcano excursion is really worth it! Banana plantations everywhere and what's meant to be the best star gazing in the world! 😉👍
Lobos is amazing swim in the blue lake and also visit the Nazi house
🇨🇦❤👍🇪🇸
Fuertentura is our go to place , we are well known in Caleta de fuste , we have been here around 10 times , we will be there in 35 days
The beaches in Fuerteventura are the best! We were there in February but we had mixed weather and it was chilly in the evening. The wind was relentless. Interested to see the capital as we didn’t make it there.
That's according to you tho.. I bet that on 9 islands there will be a perfect beach for many visitors
Hi Gabriel, the island translates to Strong Adventure, a very strange beach area with no parking area close by, a lot of walking, and the wave current looks strong. The apartment is enormous, looks like it's for four people, very comfortable. Most hurricanes originate from this part of the world.
This Lanzarote sauce looks really delicious, but one shouldn't carry it in handluggage when flying. Otherwise security at airport will say: Throw it in the trashcan, which is really sad! And it's really great to have these vlogs here almost everyday, news are unwatchable and this is a great way to travel from the chair at home👍
I agree Gabriel, visited Playa blanca twice in the last two years. It's very run down and not much going on.
There is a ferry service between La Gomera and La Palma, but to get to El Hierro you'll need to go via Los Cristianos in Tenerife. You could be better off basing yourself in or around Los Cristianos and taking three return trips to the islands
It's funny, or perhaps ironic, how we want the place to be deserted, more easily traversed, but we also want SOME tourist activity! "What fools these mortals be"!!!! Thank you, Shakespeare!
Gorgeous shirt Gabe. Is that from Thailand ? Desolate landscape. Love to vicariously see these fascinating places. 🩷🇦🇺
La Palma looks pretty too… I watched many YouTube videos 5 years ago during the volcanic eruption which lasted forever. ✌💙😎
Guessing the car was a good move!
Local Impacts on La Palma
A landslide on La Palma, particularly from the western flank of the Cumbre Vieja volcano, would have devastating effects on the island itself. Communities located on or near the landslide zone could experience: I heard the wave will hit USA.
cool. saludos
According to many Europeans, the Canary Islands are THE perfect year round beach destination actually, its for Europeans what Hawaii is for Americans but much cheaper. There are many different types of beach resort towns on the islands, and for those who prefers a major beach city there is Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
Gabe next time you return to the Canary Islands in some months or years, you can book a direct flight to La Palma which is a smaller green island with an active volcano and more mountains .. that way you can avoid doing a layover in gran Canaria or Tenerife. There are usually direct flights from Barcelona or madrid to La Palma. Safe travels.
go and check out FIESTA DE LOS INDIANOS and visit plaza España, in Santa Cruz De La Palma , La Palma nickname the beautiful island. saludos
The world is so crazy now. I try to imagine traveling (in my dreams) but then I wonder how few places are still safe to travel to.
I got a kick out of seeing the camel trains and camel crossing sign. Fabulous views.
You being a California guy, should of 🏄♂️ surf those waves.
Canary Islands look like the most boring waste of money to visit! Sand Sea Stones.
There seems to be very little tourist set up in the Canary Islands. Seems like it's mostly just barren empty mountains. Not sure why it's so famous. Edit- you said the end that there was some tourist areas there? Okay. I wonder what that area looked like. I like mountains as much as anybody else, but it's also nice to see some places where you can visit and stay. Maybe I can search some other video that will show that area that I can watch.
I think Gabriel knows the security issues with liquids and there will be nothing left by the time he leaves!
We needed you on a 🐫
Hi Gabe, this is a nice vlog, especially seeing the camel caravan. Enjoy! 🛫
Beware of the hantavirus. Be safe there.
Hey Gab. Get the hell out of dodge pls. Better safe then to be sorry
Maybe go to Calabria or Northern Sardinia afterwards
Gabe, be aware of the cruise ship that is finally landing in the Canary Islands after having a outbreak of the hantavirus. Check the news for info.
Gabe, hopefully you will depart from the Canary Islands before the MV Hondius disembarks there (just in case…).
So… Greece soon? We are going to Crete next week 😊
Fuerteventura has perfect beaches!!! Only many are remote and quiet.
Coquitlam. A suburb of Vancouver BC. Pronounced Co-kwit-lam. For future reference. Hate to be picky…..HaHa
Hwy Gabriel ,
These islamds are amazing,
Do you have any concerns about , a cruise ship (MV Hondius) with a hantavirus outbreak onboard is is heafing your way?
rideable surf at Puerto Ventruea,
Lewt and right peaks. No one out .
Looks ideal for a fun surf.Where are the surfboards?
Sharks??
Warm, not hot as I remember
Nice drive to your accommodation on Fuerteventura Island. Wow, Toowoomba (Australian town) made it on a sign post, perfect pronunciation lol. The sand dune beach was amazing. Looks like a great Island to explore. Nice accommodation. Looking forward to seeing more.✌️
The best island by far is GC it's like a mini continent in one it has everything and not too much of any one thing , you want a bit of lively it's there , want quiet quaint villages it's there, want breathtaking views, it's there desert it's there forests it's there, mountains volcanos it's there , plus the capital is amazing, no need to say more having done the others too it's the only one I would easily return too time and time again
Around Jandia you will find the best beaches picture perfect heavenly beaches.
