The Full Story of My Escape Across the Arabian Desert
Join me on an exhilarating journey as I recount the incredible story of my escape from Doha, Qatar, navigating the vast Arabian Desert through Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. In this gripping video, I share my experiences traveling to Al Ain, a medium-sized city less marked as a target than its larger counterparts, and strategically positioned on the border of Oman. My ultimate goal? To find a flight that could whisk me away from the Middle East altogether.
This compelling narrative covers the challenges I faced, the breathtaking landscapes I encountered, and the moments that tested my resolve. With stunning visuals filmed using a DJI Osmo Action, every scene captures the beauty and mystery of the Arabian terrain, animated by the emotional undertones of “Watch It Glow” by Silent Partner.

It appears UAE is now being attacked…Thursday 7:09 pm EST per Fox News
People on other channels are talking about you. Hoping you can help them get out.
Maybe picture of Dubrovnik is above bed in your room.
Just on the news in Australia, flights have been arriving from Dubai at less than capacity so you should be able to get a flight here even if you can't get one to India. Maybe it is time to visit down under again? 😊
Glad you made it !
So far so good.
What nice people who helped.
Fabulous story telling there Gabe. Glad you’re in a peaceful spot. Looking forward to seeing your Oman perspectives… where in India are you headed? You might want to tune into that carefully re proximity to Pakistan. It’s a covert Rachel H here!
Nice!

I hope you can catch a flight out of the entire area at some point. Keep us posted. Good job on making the right decision with where you decided to travel by road. Thank goodness and bravo to Mohammed and his brother on driving you, they are awesome ppl and true legends.
the kitchen area ..they probably use a hot plate
Good decision to leave Qatar. Things are getting much worse there.
When you were at the parking lot with the taxi drivers Weather many people looking for taxi drivers. Because you mentioned 5 km later at So water it was very crowded. He was sexy.
That oasis with the palms looked like such a pleasant walk. I could just walk through there every afternoon and listen to an audiobook or podcast and relax.
I am very glad that you are safe. With regard to the Instagram post that you read about the traveler stuck on a plane not knowing what would happen and the US "wasn't helping "…..I just want to say that that almost every country you mentioned has been on the US State Departments "do not travel" list for years. In many cases…the State Departments website clearly states that they may not be able to help you in certain circumstances. You travel to those countries at your own risk. Dint blame the government when you get stuck.
Thank you Mohammed, it's good to know there are some kind people still left in this world. Gab, the middle east is the last place I'd want to be right now. The situation could go from 1 to 100 in an hour. Especially now that China are on the way. I'd be trying like ** to get my ass home.
Hopefully you are back home safe 🥰 thanks for your videos Gabriel
Forget that TV crap of Survivor on TV, this right here is real life SURVIVOR!!
It’s good to see that you are respecting other people’s culture and not complaining about your current situation.

Weird hybrid hubris in USA government leaving it's citizens to attempt land boarders on foot ( if not clever like Gabe ) no visas , just a hope & a wish …..
Like all those asylum seekers crossing the Mexican border. … The irony is iconic
You made the NPR news cycle last night with your short interview about your travails along with so many others "stuck" in the middle east.
