Dancer Who Performed With Rosalía, Rauw Alejandro Found Dead at 28

Michael-Anthony “Mykee” Leones Espino, a dancer who performed with Latin artists including Rosalía and Rauw Alejandro, has died. He was 28 years old.

The Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office said in a statement to Billboard that Leones Espino was located Monday (July 13) in the area of Southwest 162nd Avenue and Southwest 138th Terrace, where he was pronounced dead. Detectives determined the death was an apparent suicide.

He was last seen Sunday at about 12:30 p.m. leaving the 14200 block of Southwest 161st Court in Miami, according to authorities. The sheriff’s office had previously issued a missing persons flyer.

Leones Espino, who used the handle @mykeemooves on TikTok and Instagram, had about 54.5K and 26.2K followers across the two platforms, respectively. His social media accounts documented his work as a professional dancer, with videos and photos showing him rehearsing, performing and traveling with major Latin artists.

Posts on his accounts showed him with Rauw Alejandro and backstage preparing for the Puerto Rican superstar’s Cosa Nuestra tour, which ended in November 2025. He also appeared onstage with Rauw during the singer’s Saturno tour and in the music video for 2024’s “Touching the Sky.”

Rauw Alejandro shared a missing persons flyer for Leones Espino on his Instagram Stories after authorities asked the public for help locating him.

His social media also documented his work with Rosalía. In posts shared in late 2022 and January 2023, Leones Espino appeared dancing alongside the Spanish singer during her Motomami tour, including in a clip set to “Despechá” and in photos with Rosalía and fellow backup dancers.

Billboard has reached out to representatives for Rauw Alejandro and Rosalía for comment.
