Air India Crash: Investigating the Boeing 787 Dreamliner Tragedy
In a devastating incident that has sent shockwaves through the aviation community, an Air India Boeing 787 Dreamliner crashed shortly after takeoff from Ahmedabad, carrying 242 people. Officials have reported grim predictions regarding the likelihood of survivors, emphasizing the severity of the situation. The aircraft was en route to London, U.K., when it went down just five minutes after takeoff, raising urgent questions about the possible causes behind this catastrophic event.
As investigators sift through preliminary data and eyewitness accounts, experts are beginning to identify potential factors that may have contributed to the crash. John Gradek, a prominent figure from McGill University’s Global Aviation Leadership Program, joins the conversation to provide insights into the complexities of aviation safety and the critical measures employed in the industry. Gradek’s expertise sheds light on the multifaceted nature of airplane operations and the numerous variables that can lead to tragic outcomes.
Understanding the technical aspects of the Boeing 787 Dreamliner is essential in this investigation. Known for its advanced technology and fuel efficiency, the aircraft type has garnered a strong safety record. However, what happened on that fateful flight remains a mystery. Early analyses suggest that a combination of human error, mechanical failure, or even adverse weather conditions could be at play.
The aviation community stands united in mourning the loss of lives while seeking clarity and accountability in this tragic incident. With ongoing investigations, the hope is that critical lessons can be learned to enhance safety protocols and prevent future tragedies. As we grapple with the implications of this crash, the focus remains on honoring those lost and supporting their families during this incredibly difficult time.

Boeing😢
Airline companies should think twice before ordering fleets from Boeing. It's getting out of hand.
pilot error , or boeing computer glitch ! nobody can sue boeing , because they just dont care !
What could have brought it down? Boeing?
It's a Boeing, nuf said.
wing flaps were not down
There is one survivor. Seat 11A.
Best bet: wrong take off configuration. Second guess: mechanical issue in fuel delivery.
EDIT: Considerations – CRM (the crew was multicutural) miscommunication, this 787 was one of the early ones…
Plane was probably on its way to canada. Thank you pilot for saving us from more immigrant burdens.
I’ve got a really big problem with this lie they keep saying that flying is safer than driving. I think we can all pretty much agree there are far less planes in the sky than there are motor vehicles on the road. Which means inevitably with a higher amount of vehicles on the road and the higher density of vehicles on the road, by sheer numbers, yes there would be more accidents with motor vehicles. However, and this is the big part, that is completely ignoring the fact that planes crash to a very high degree with a lesser density of planes out there compared to motor vehicles.
Very Very Sad Incident💔
Sincere Prayers for all Bereaved Families.
Airline Companies must REVISE their POLICIES in order to avoid such TRAGIC Incidents again in future.

RIP to the lives lost. Indian regulators and government obviously didn’t care enough to make sure these planes are safe.
So Pannu was right? Air India is unsafe and should be avoided! Water Leaks, windows cracking, emergency exit doors malfunctions, aggressive landings, crashes …. It’s simply an unsafe airline run by idiots.
Yet the Indian media and goofs who hate anything India related being called out twist it to be anti-national and pro terrorist.
Pannu was right all along 👍
BOEING !!!
first post host palki sharma said one person is alive from the crash
Lesson 1 : Don't fly Air India (There is a plethora of negative reviews on them, horrendous airline)
Lesson 2 : Don't fly on American built and engineered aircraft (Boeing is renowned for cutting corners)
Lesson 3 : Europe produces the best and safest aircraft, (Airbus)
never forget air India bombing 1985
That is an unusual / abnormal configuration for the aircraft to be in landing mode and gear out- it seem like pilot was trying everything possible but they lost lift or power and unfortunately were not able to fix it in a couple of minutes is all the time they had. RIP all souls
That is so incredibly sad! My thoughts and prayers are with all of those affected. Truly heartbreaking 💔
overweight like their trains.
No problem with Boeing. It's the indian pilots.
Sounds like another Boeing screw-up.
Who the hell gave India an air plane…
Boeing has gone boink. Stick with Airbus.
When boeing ceo cut corners, this is what happens
Of course it's india
Pakistan is behind this crash. Lazy government always throw blame basket on others to avoid failure responsibility
Pakistan did this
After seeing the flaps were up, I smell either pilot error or knowing Boeing, could be some sort of malfunction the plane had. Guess we shall see hopefully soon. RIP to the victims and praise the lord to the one survivor.
Another reason not to buy anything American., but especially things that can fall from the sky on you. Those Swedish jets are looking better and better every day.
The problem was the hindu pilots !
No details in this video. Misleading video
Boeing again and again
Very expert video when he said 'something went wrong'
Come to Jesus and his words in the bible. Jesus is our savior, hope, dream and future. He loves you very much and he understands your struggle. Come to Jesus and pray about it as he loves you very much. You will be heard by Jesus. God bless you
Never travel Air India. Worst Airline, plane inspections are forged, and innocent people have to pay the price.
in the video you can see flaps for take off were not deployed..
Boeing used decommissioned/scrapped parts for the 787. it was in the media some times ago.
IF ITS BOEING IM NOT GOING!
Remember to book Seat 11A in your next flight
Obviously pilot error. They can’t even keep a big rig on the road, how do they manage to fly a plane.
I don't see flaps down. 😮
Ban Boeing
Incompetence? Treating rules and procedures like they are optional.
Laziness.
Too good to not have one every 7-10 years. Boeing, eh?
It baffles me why takeoff and landing are still done manually….I'm sure a computer can do it perfectly without mistakes…too many pilot error these days
boing
