The Squire of Gothos.
Noisy, obnoxious, pretty awful acting, depressing storyline, just down right bad…leave it in the archive!!!!!!!
Caryl Chessman, who wrote the book as an autobiography while on death row, was eventually executed in 1960 at age 38. At the time, he had spent over eleven years on death row, the longest any American had lived on death row. Eleven years wouldn't be near the SHORTEST now spent on Death Row. Like Gary Gilmore said "America wants to HAVE the Death Penalty but they don't want to USE it." Sadly this looks like an Ain't nothing never my fault movie so thanks anyway.
Based on Caryl Chessman 1921-1960. Many folks have been executed for crimes they didn't commit, later discovered by DNA evidence. This was a famous writer who was executed for crimes other than murder that he may not have committed. This case helped end Capital Punishment in CA and the other nonmaga states.
