If Tesla pulls this off, we'll look back at traditional taxis the same way we look at flip phones.
A self-driving car is impressive. A self-driving car that earns money is revolutionary.
The craziest part is that millions of people still think Robotaxis are decades away.
The future of transportation might arrive much faster than most people expect.
Tesla isn't just building vehicles. They're building a transportation network.
Imagine never having to drive, park, or own a car again.
Would you trust a Cybercab with your family inside and no human driver?
Hot take: Robotaxis will hurt Uber and traditional taxi companies more than EVs hurt gasoline cars.
Cybercab could be one of those products that sounds impossible until it suddenly becomes normal.
This might be the beginning of the biggest transportation shift in generations. 🔥
Interesting machine who is the customer I suppose taxi fleets and I suppose you pay by mile what is the insurance on this Rego etc. in an accident who is responsible. And will put taxi drivers out of a job.
Wait till Massive Lawsuit start. Coming in
❤
My money seems well invested in Tesla.
I think that this particular design for cybercab is one of the biggest mistakes that Elon has made sense his first attempts at making electric cars. It has 2 wheel drive and low clearance. Any snow more than 4 or 5 inches deep or any slow drift over a foot tall will transform Cybercabs into an obstacle course for normal cars. Once enough snow is packed under the flat underside of the Cybercab it won't go anywhere until someone shovels enough snow out from under it so that the the tires can regain traction.
Excellent modifications.
Tesla must have plans for avoiding over saturation in areas where too many private buyers want to buy a few Robotaxis and cash in. For example, a Robotaxi ‘franchise’ where I live in southwest Florida sounds REALLY promising. But there could easily be a hundred other hopefuls with the same idea in my community. Some process will be needed to balance supply and demand for ‘taxi’ services.
Good Evening To Our Respectful CEO Of Tesla 🚗🔌🔋and SpaceX, Sir. Have A Great Day. 🙏❤💐🇮🇳🇺🇸😊.
I don't understand why they are building these so slowly. Having a couple hundred out there after a few months of production is nothing. I thought the plan was to make these as fast as 1 every 5 seconds. I would think that by now they'd at least be up to a thousand per day but it doesn't look like they're exceeding single digits per day with the amounts reportedly delivered.
