The Pilatus PC-12 PRO is the latest advancement in single-engine aircraft technology from Swiss plane manufacturer Pilatus. In a recent test flight over the stunning Swiss Alps, the PC-12 PRO showcased its new features and capabilities.
Equipped with the latest Garmin touchscreen avionics, auto-land capability, and flight-control safety updates, the PC-12 PRO offers a more user-friendly and advanced cockpit experience. The aircraft also features a new yoke and refreshed cabin, making it both stylish and comfortable for passengers.
During the test flight, the pilot demonstrated the auto throttle feature to prevent stalling and tested the safety envelope system during steep bank maneuvers. With a cruising speed of up to 290kt and a maximum range of 1,830nm, the PC-12 PRO offers impressive performance for business and private use.
The test flight was captured by a helicopter flying alongside the PC-12 PRO, providing stunning aerial footage of the winter landscape of Switzerland. The aircraft landed in Samedan before departing to Zurich International Airport. With certification already in place, the PC-12 PRO is set to be available for delivery from Q4 2025.
